So I just signed up for a Federal Spending Plan. Allows me to put money in an account for a year that is tax free that I can use towards my medical expenses. I spend roughly $2610 in medical (co-pays, vits, protein, perscriptions,bc)

Question 1:
If I get my PCP to write a letter of necessity for my vits and protein, can this be covered?

Question 2:
Has anyone used this before, can you share?

Mine said you could....online there was a list of things that would be covered for different reasons but you had to self submit with the dr's note.  I did not do it as it seemed like a lot of work....I probably should but I don't.  Good luck!!!

I didn't do it because my expenses where so much higher than I could count without that, it was worthless.  I had a knee replacement and that did it.
