Hi, I have always used Chocolate, mint or fruity protein.  Any ideas what to do with the Vanilla, I did try the unflavored but it wasn't good for me.

Thanks for your help.

I use mine for my coffee and add a little sugar free flavoring like hazelnut. Yummy. Also read on this site about someone's recipe for making their own frappechinos (spelling??). They used vanilla protein but add cocoa and ice cubes and milk with some coffee. I think some add it to sugar free pudding.

I make a slurry with a little cream and water + a scoop of vanilla protein powder + an extra packet of sweetener + a dash of cinnamon + {shake} + pour a lot of brewed coffee over top. broken heart

I'm not a big plain vanilla person but I do use it in my coffee and have put it in hot chocolate.  I have made shakes with fresh fruit, put it in pancakes, cheesecake, greek yogurt with fruit.  good luck.

I just drink it. :) Sometimes I add Torani syrup for a different flavor or mix it with another flavor to make that flavor less strong.

But mostly I just drink it.

I look at vanilla as a blank canvas that I can do whatever I want with.  I can add strawberries or raspberries and have a smoothie or I can add any flavor of sugar free syrup I want, or combine, and make up my own flavor.  I have been craving egg nog lately but I have a problem with making it, even sugar free, because I can't stand the thought of drinking raw eggs.  I have had egg nog many times but not homemade.  I know, strange.  Anyway, I took some sugar free vanilla ice cream, some vanilla protein powder and some milk and added some egg nog flavored syrup.  It tasted just like egg nog, without the egg.  You can add some brown sugar and cinnamon sugar free syrup and have a cinnamon roll shake.  There are all kinds of things you can do with vanilla.

ive got some of the brown sugar cinnamon SF syurp and other than adding it to cooked apples, I hadn't figured out what to do with it.  I'll try it in vanilla.  Thanks.

Hum...Thank you all for your help with the vanilla protein. They are really great ideas.

McMadam...you are TOUGH to be able to drink this stuff straight...you have my respect!  How do you get past the smell?

Anyway keeping life fun as I learn how to maintain on this journey.

Again Thank you very much.
Have a blessed Christmas!

I can drink the Syntrax Matrix Simply Vanilla straight, and the Pure Protein one, but others are too sweet and I don't want to add any more sweet to them, myself.

Mostly I use vanilla for baking or I add Root Beer extract or flavor drops and blend with ice to pretend I'm having a root beer float. Oh PB2 is also good in it, makes it taste like a peanut butter cookie, but you have to blend very well

Good luck!!
