Good Morning. Free for All Friday!
So, what silliness have you got planned for Friday? I'm going to go to COSTCO this morning in the rain, by myself, and try to lift heavy boxes from my basket to my trunk. {sigh} That's it.
Y'all have to have something planned better than I do. What's up?

I'm working....hard... can't you tell?
I put a roast with veggies in the crockpot and will take it to my daughters' tonight for dinner. The snow just skimmed us, so we only got about 2" - nothing really.
My convertible is in the shop - I hope this car isn't going to be a cash cow...since it only has 50K miles on it. My check engine light came on and it seems my 02 sensor needed to be replaced, along with the cable. Had the brakes checked out too since on the way up, driving through the snow they were acting up (not fun). The brakes checked out fine. Oh - and a tie rod... Picked it up yesterday and the light came back on. Seems my car is trying to reject the new part (kinda like an organ transplant - lol). So they still have it. Luckily I have the Durango too.
At least my power is stil on!

Fun Stuff today...work till 5... not a fun thing...but a reality...the really fun thing is today is my Son's B-day and he turns 17...getting scary...lol...he is trying so hard to still be my baby...but really wants to be an adult...I would rather he be an adult too...
So after work we will be doing a birthday dinner out of his choice...then a Pumpkin Pie for his BDay cake...then he opens his presents...tomorrow he is have a man cave party with a few of his buddies...whew... thank goodness I will be at work...well I will be there for the overnight video game marathon I am sure they have planned....I just need to provide the snacks and drinks...then I can call it a day...no big deal here...we ALL know what teenagers like to eat...a trip to Sam's Club provided us with what seems like a TON of pizza bites...and a few liters of soda...some favorite cookies and I am done.

Dh had a Sam's run...gas and canned cat food. (Costco doesn't carry the shredded kind and my bunch despise the pate kind) I think he is headed to home depot as well...at least there is a light bulb in the kitchen missing which means he has it with him to replace.
We got back late yesterday afternoon from an overnight trip to the Asheville area. We got there just at lunchtime and then spent the afternoon riding by houses to keep or check off the list we have going. Of the seven we have checked out so far, two have remained on the list. I just hope the one we liked best is still available this summer.
We also rode up yesterday to Madison County (north of Asheville) to see one of dh's cousin's who had flown in to deal with property she owns there. (she's putting it on the market which is ******g off another cousin of dh's but hey, not everyone wants to live in NC, LOL). She lives in CA but still has the run down house on LOTS of timber land up there. House isn't worth anything but the land is. She also had WLS about 2 months before dh did. She had the RNY. She was north of 400 lbs and altho she didn't say what she currently weighs, I suspect it's just at 200-210. Which is still obese but no longer SMO. She is also heading to a panni! Between the three of us, we've lost around 375 lbs after surgery.
It was good to finally meet her...she was already living in CA when we got married almost 17 years ago.

Well I made a new meal plan and exercise plan. So today I walked 3 miles 450 calories burned , water aerobics 200 calories burned. And I'm eating 1000 calories , 100 plus protein and under 40 carbs. See where this takes me and if I can stick to it! 30 days I better see a lower scale. Grrr . Happy Friday!!!
My net calories are about 600, I'm not eating back my calories!
So far we haven't gotten any weather worth talking about.
I'm taking my Mom for a pedicure and I'm getting my nails filled in after work. The Director is letting me off an hour early because of my perfect audit so I moved our appointment time up.
All-Star Cheerleading all weekend...YEAH!

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!
