LOL, yeah, we do...and it is special. It's a Wedgwood Pattern that I can NOT find a match to at all. I checked thru replacement china places, googled it, etc and while there is a WW pattern by that name, it does NOT match what I have. In fact there are 11 different patterns named the same as mine...different code numbers. The code that matches my mark is the only one in that pattern that looks like it. The others are simply drawings.

My plates were my Mother's that she got as a wedding present over 60 years ago. (I'm 58 and they married four years before I arrived)

I'm pre-op too and bought a small cuisinart food processor recently. It was either 20 or 25 bucks at Costco. There's a mini blender I want to get, 14oz and 15 bucks at amazon. I have a really tiny kitchen and the less stuff I have out and the smaller it is the better!

Another thing (that I also need to get myself) is a julienne peeler for using on zuchinni.

I don't use anything more than my shaker cup with steel ball, baby 4 section formula container for my daily protein, oxo canisters that hold a whole container of Protein. ( Pictures on my profile ).

Great question.....I bought things that I didnt need but the things I most use is blender bottles, small baby spoons (still use them and my little plates now most days) and my ice cream maker (I make protein ice cream out of protein shakes).  Sounds like you are set up good....Walmart is now selling blender bottles by the way which is nice as they used to be difficult to find.  One other things is my coffee cup....I have several as I drink a lot of coffee including protein coffee.

Good luck!!!

I like my one quart pitcher to make my own light drink mixtures (tea w/crystal light, etc). Also I like the small glass food storage containers (Martha Stewart ones that snap on/off real good) so that I can store the food I can't eat and yet heat it easily and eat straight out the container.

Other than the blender cups as others have mentioned here, I can't live without my scale and Ninja.  We use all 3 of these almost every day.

My VDH had DS surgery last Thursday and I've been using the Ninja every day to make sure his soups and protein drinks are blended very well.

Thanks, Diana

I really think I will need a scale...I don't have any reference for eyeballing quantities...portion control is the demon that got me to where I am...well and the past love of just eating everything...

Thanks MrsRigDriver...are you a trucker or something?  I think of rig driver as a truck driver...just putting together a mental pic for you....

LOL - No, I'm not a trucker.  My husband's "name" on most message boards is Texas Rig Diver so I went with Mrs Rig Diver (not driver). We are both having WLS surgery - he had the DS on 11/29/12 and I'm hoping to have the VSG on 12/17 or 1/7 if the December date doesn't work.

Thanks, Diana

Thanks, Diana
