I am so, so happy to read this!

I have found this whole process interesting....frustrating at times but I have pretty much let go of that.  I have tried several things to get the scale moving again and apparently my weight is just where it is supposed to be.  5 day pouch test didnt do it and I have completed 4 weeks of 5 of a 5 day a week exercise boot camp (cross fit) in which I am sorer than I have ever been in my life and the scale still didnt move.  Didnt do it for that but still interesting.  The good thing is that I am maintaining so this makes me happy.  My clothes also fit better and I have had many people at work saying things about me shrinking which just makes me laugh.

I hope the scale keeps going down for you....for some of us this is such a struggle and it can be difficult to see so many lightweights get down to really low weights.  Obesity is such a tricky disease and it has been validating to me that there is a lot that has caused my weight issues (not just my own behavior).

Good luck!!

Jennifer

Muscle ofthe same volume weighs three times more than fat .  When we start exercising we actually get heavier ( because excercised muscles also retain more water )  and when we finally dare weigh ourselves sometimes it seems the scale has stayed the same  from when we started .

But please rest assured , youre burning fat and  creating calorie burning muscle  with every workout ! (((())))

Jennifer,

I have to agree that seeing so many lightweights get so little has been a bit depressing. I'm happy for them, but do wi**** had been me.
Ike you, I am learning to enjoy the new body. I've also found that people keep thinking I'm shrinking when I'm not. Except, weirdly enough, whenever my husband says I'm shrinking he's always right. We have a standing deal. If I ever get below his weight he has to carry me over the threshold. I thin he's getting a little nervous. When we go married I weighed a hundred pounds more than him. Now, just thirty something! LMFAO

I love it!!  I also love that he loves you for you!

I am hoping the threshold thing happens.  broken heart

I so wish that people who have struggled or not ended up where they "thought" they would, would continue to post and share in the support.  There are no winners or losers in this.....we all chose to take care of ourselves and isolation is NOT helpful.

Blessings!!

i stumbled on the information that dairy might be the cause of my weight loss. At 2,5 years post op,I quit dairy cold turkey and the scale has started going down again. I mean I had been maintaining, regardless of what I did, until I quit dairy.

I am,needless to say,thrilled.
