Landed in the ER last night (NOT due to my DS)
While taxes and property cost are a big issue...our choice is based on what medicare insurance plans are handled in each county. Unfortunately it's not the same across the state. Each county has options they allow or don't allow.
Dh's cousin is an insurance rep in Candler...and she does the medicare plans each year for lots of people in lots of counties. Turns out that the best ones are NOT in Buncombe but in Henderson and Haywood. While Haywood would be fine, I think we want Henderson to be in that Asheville, Tryon, Brevard area.
Nope can't have it all but you have to admit, it comes danged CLOSE...
Being a DS'er, we can do one of three things...Stay with each of our surgeons, one of us transfer to the other one's, or both of us see about transferring our care to Sudan in Raleigh.

Sorry you have it too...hope you get well fst.
I have to admit, and my husband agrees...the inhaler IS helping. Along with the steroids. I'm not hacking up a lung each time I cough now.
Just make sure you take all your vitamins...it will help. And stay hydrated.
When is your surgery? And which one?
