Thanks for all your input much appreciated
I was told to cut the juice with half water...the idea was your body needed a FEW carbs and we weren;t getting much in at that point. It was also a way to add flavor. I drank the diluted apple juice JUST the first month.
I also did a LOT of broth...
Suggestions depend on if you are still on clear liquids or full liquids.
Popsicles and italian ices are also good at this point in time for a different texture.

Same a Southernlady, I was told to dilute the juice.
I was also allowed diluted juice but I don't remember having any because everything tasted extremely sweet and strong to me. I just edited my reply because I noticed you had a DS. I guess that you wouldn't dump on the sugar. I still dump on juices.
I drank mostly broth and tea but I only had to do it 1 week and then it was soft foods.

no juice on our plan for a month or so.
I drank broth, herb tea and decaf coffee. I did best with room temp or warm stuff.

How about V8 juice? I'm still pre-op but working with a nutritionist and she's very happy that I like it and wants me to keep drinking it afterwards. Get the old school 5.5 oz cans, not the V8 'splash', which is basically fruit juice and has tons of sugar. They even make the 5.5 oz cans in low sodium (those are the ones I buy).
Those low sodium V8s are awesome! Adds some great nutrients to our diets, especially potassium that drops like crazy immediately post-op. Good for you and your NUT. I'm impressed.

My nutritionist is pretty good, I have to say I appreciate her that much more having read some of the threads here on OH of the people with plain crazy and/or dumb ones! I can't find her card to check but I'm pretty sure she's actually a dietician. She's pretty cool about working with the things I like too.
