WOOOOOO HOOOOOO
My appointment to meet the surgeon is now the 14th instead of the 21st. YAY. And I talked to the scheduler and asked what I could expect at this appointment. She told me they would have me meet surgeon, they would order and possibly do the testing, I MAY have to meet with the nut but she wasn't sure, and best of all I WILL GET MY SURGERY DATE!!!!!!!! I am so totally excited. She said NOT to try loosing weight before I meet with the surgeon since I am only a 39.1 BMI. I have comorbities, asthma, blood pressure, sleep apnea, high cholesterol. She said I should be fine but not to loose anymore weight so I guess I am off the protein shake diet for now. I'm so stoked. She said the insurance, medicare/medicaid covers BMI of 35 or higher with comorbities. yay me. Just thought I would throw that in incase anyone else has those for insurance. HERE we come SLEEVE. Hopefully by march??? February would be better :D i'm just toooooo excited. LOL Anyone else seeing surgeon on monday? you know, SIX DAYS FROM NOW???/ LOL

Just a tiny tip if you want your BMI on the higher side without eating a lot of food. Eat the highest sodium food the day before and morning of. You can pack on water weight that will easily come off later. I'm salt sensitive and my weight jumped considerably to make me just one pound over the minimum required by insurance. I didn't know I would like have been under the minimum if I ate my regular way. Ironically, I didn't think of doing this intentionally, I just craved some Panda Express orange chicken with noodles instead of rice the night before and then ate a McDonalds breakfast on the way to the doctor. Considering how some insurance companies are picky, I might not have qualified.
Hurray, hurray. Yep, just wear heavy shoes, clothes and don't take your coat off before you weigh. Really, you should be fine. Congrat.
