Pre-Op scale victory...
I am still Pre-Op...I was pretty sure I wasn't going to break the 230 mar****il after surgery...but when I stepped on the scale this AM it registered 229...yea me...I have not seen 229 in at least 3-5 years...I can't even remember when... so happy about this today...
This makes a total of 31 lbs pre-surgery....oh boy...it has not been easy...so I am ready for the rest of this fight...come on 1/14/13!!!

Good going, Lucy.
Also while you ARE still pre-op, measure yourself. And then once a month measure again. I always measured on my monthly surgery day.
There were many months I would not lose weight but DID lose inches.
Duodenal Switch (Lap) 01-24-11 | Surgeon: Stephen Boyce | High weight: 250 in 2002 | Surgery weight: 203 | Lowest weight: 121 | Current weight: 135 | Goal weight: 135
I have a waist measurement on my start date..31 lbs ago...I haven't measured since then...but I am really struggling to keep my pants on...lol...literally...lol.
I plan on taking full body measurements on Sunday...day before surgery...also pics. I have enough of the heaviest weight pics...but I have not had any since losing this 31 lbs...
I really do plan on tracking all I can track...to help me get through the doubting Thomas times...

I'm so happy for you!! I lost 30 lbs before surgery and it made the surgeon pleased. I hope it pleases your surgeon, too. Give yourself a real pat on the back for the hard work!
That's terrific and will really give you a head start. Woo hoo. Next week is almost here.
