Sounds like you have already had your official weigh in if you are in your supervised diet part for insurance?  Maybe I am getting folks mixed up.  Anyway, it is usually your first weight that is the weight they go by.  Your Dr office can tell you that.  Good luck.  Gain weight if needed.  It is worth it in the long run.

My first weigh in I was under 35 BMI and had to gain 11 pds. By my next 2 mo visit I gained the 11lbs (easily) and my ins still approved me. I do have the comorbidities. Sleep apnea, heart issues, and a failed lap band.
