Sunday Weigh In

Have you tried scrambled eggs? Those are usually easy to handle with teeth issues. The week after my jaw surgery, I was able to slip some scrambled egg in when nothing else worked. I also had some ham/navy bean soup stashed in my freezer that worked. While most veggie soups didn't work, for some reason the ham/navy bean soup did.

Maybe it was just time to add a lb. How do you feel about that?

Oh yeah, I forgot, I have been eating a lot of scrambled eggs with cheese.  I found that when I go out I can order a cheese omelet with hollandaise sauce and it goes down easily.  My boyfriend was actually surprised to see that I had finished my entire 2 egg omelet the other day.

I'm fine with putting on a few pounds as long as it doesn't get out of hand.  I was worried a bit about my clothes not fitting any more until I realized that most of my clothes are pretty loose on me and I could probably put on 5 or 10 lbs and they would still fit.

Sounds like you are in a slow down (happens from time to time for most of us).

You'll get in that new decade soon enough.

I bet you are!!!

You will do fine, just DO NOT PANIC if you gain weight the first week or so...it happens. They pump us full of fluids and it can take a week or so to get back off.

DH & I started a new activity on Monday, ballroom dance lessons. I think that might have helped me lose the 2 pounds. The loss is slowing down, but at least I'm still losing kiss

I think we all slow down some as we get further out from our surgery...but as long as you are still in yoour honeymoon phase, it can happen.

Good for you for finding an activity you both enjoy.
