Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so

MENU: (DS Maintenance Mode)
B - 2 protein coffees (60g)
S - Fage Greek yogurt w/blueberries and protein coffee (30g)
S - popcorn
S - JayRobb protein bar
L
 - protein shake (30g)
S - peanuts
S - cheese and deli meat

D - GF spaghetti w/hot Italian sausage 
S - CarbSmart ice cream

morning batch: done
calcium batches: done

evening batch: starting     

MILES:
walking...wishful thinking. Nope, stuck inside all day.

I am on a computer tonight , typing on my phone is a pain in the rear. This may be long , but I need some help. I was down to 142 now I'm back to 145. I have been doing this weight since the first of December...maybe even sooner I'd have to check. I was advised to up my calories. My protein has always been above 80 mostly in the 118's and my carbs below 50, mainly 30. This is what I am trying this week.

Monday: bacon bits, egg, slice, of cheese. L; 2 string cheese, 2 oz tuna ,tbs mayo. D:2.5 oz chicken. 2tbs bbq sauce. snacks 3 protein drinks 1 Pro max protein bar = 147 protein 50 carbs =1065 calories

Tuesday: bacon bits, egg, cheese. L 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1string cheese, 2 oz tuna, 1 tbs mayo. D:3 oz chicken , 2 tbs bbq sauce. snacks protein drinks 3 and 1 pro max protein bar =130 protein 50 carbs 1030 calories

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are the same as Tuesday. except for supper im having elk burger or elk steak.

Wed=147 protein 50 carbs,1056 calories. Thursday =141 protein 50 carbs,1016 calories. Friday= 135 protein and 48 carbs,930 calories

what am I doing wrong? I'm sitting the same up and down. This is the first week ive had this many carbs, they are in the 50's because of the protein bar. Should I go back to 800-900 calories? I am told to eat 1200 by the doctor, but 1 I can't fit 1200 healthy calories in and keep my carbs low and 2 I think 1200 should be my maintenance number? I'm stuck.

Your menu doesn't look bad - but I couldn't eat the protein bars, I found they slowed me down plus they were too heavy for my tummy. 

How are your fluids?  Are you getting a minimum of 64oz a day?  How's your sodium?  Also, some folks can't lose when they eat dairy (perhaps HollyKim will chime in).  I know my daughter also lost well when she cut out all dairy (don't know why though).

But yes, I'd say cut out the protein bar.  You may also need to mix up your diet a bit - I know some folks eat pretty much the same thing all the time, but I know my body got bored with it and until I changed things up, it didn't want to let go of any fat.

I didn't really count calories.  I focused on counting carbs and protein. 

I also don't see any protein drinks.  With having VSG not all folks drink them, but perhaps replace the protein bar with a low carb protein drink.  You'll get your protein minus the carbs and fat.  I've been drinking protein hot chocolates and they are yummy.  I take the no-sugar-added hot chocolate mix, mix water with it and nuke it for a minute.  Meanwhile I take a scoop of my chocolate protein, mix it with some lukewarm water and make sure all lumps are gone, then dump into the hot chocolate and stir. 

I'm sure some others will chime in - and keep up the good work!!

Hi, yes I do do drink zero carb protein drinks 75 grams a day. I do get my water in , but perhaps I should try no cheese. This is my first day trying a protein bar. I was trying to get I. More healthy calories.  Since at 800 maybe I was starving or something. I'll try no cheese
