Considered lightweight?
Yeap, you are both LW's...and welcome to the board.
Typically a LW is between 35 & 40ish BMI with about 100 +/- lbs to lose. We don't get hung up on details here tho...we welcome anyone who wants to be a part...
LW's who have surgery here in the USA have to have a co-morbid to get surgery so we all, pretty much, have that in common.
As long as you and your pcp/surgeon agree that surgery is your best option what others think isn't that important. While I was concerned about what my family thought, I did not let them decide for me. I did this for me.

Welcome aboard!

This is the best board ever.....and yup you all are lightweights....I found it fascinating that I was always looked at as fat in the thin world yet not fat in the WLS world. The bottom line is we all need to support each other. This board has helped me along the way.
Good luck!!
