Good Morning. 90 pound weakling?
You guys that are at or near goal, do you feel like a 90-pound weakling facing a 200-pound bully sometimes? I'm so glad folks open doors for me now. It takes everything I have to push and pull open those big plate glass doors at work when the wind kicks up even slightly. An even bigger challenge is when I'm the first one at work and the lobby seems to be vacuum sealed at the outside doors.
Have a great Friday!

YES!!!!
I tell dh when I am holding something (we are still in the middle of a bathroom renovation) that I am holding as hard as I can! Just not as much of me to hold with.
I hope the weather doesn't dump on you like it did on us!

HAHA....LOVE THIS!! I have a terrible time getting the door open on my DH's truck so I can get out. I swear every door I have to open has gained the 85 pounds that I lost...LOL.

I never really felt very strong at any weight so that hasn't changed. And I guess I don't really look that helpless because no one runs to my aid to open doors or anything. I did notice the other day when we had pretty strong winds that I really did feel like the wind would blow me away. I really need to do some weight training or something because right now I feel like my Chihuahua could take me. And there is no way I can pick up any of my grand kids right now. My 6 year old grand daughter weighs about 50 lbs and I have to remember that she is about half my size. When we go shopping she wants me to put her in a cart and that just isn't going to happen. My 3 year old granddaughter is about 40 lbs and I can't lift her, either. Not even the 2 year old. I remember when my kids were little and I carried them around all the time even when they were 3 and 4 so I must have been stronger then. I re herniated myself picking up my boyfriend's 7 month old grand daughter. I couldn't even pick her up in her car seat and I remember carrying those around all the time with my babies and not giving it a second thought.
Today I couldn't even open up my thermos to pour some coffee but I think it's defective.

My husband has two wheelchairs, one manual and one big, huge electric that often would get stuck in the lawn or dirt or gravel. Grown men would have trouble helping him get out of those situations but look like weenies. I'd strut up weighing 230 lbs and grab that chair and rock it back and forth leveraging my body weight (at a lower center of gravity than the men's) and get him of being stuck! I did this so many times that people would ask him how I did it. Extra weight really seems to add strength, at least for me. He hasn't got stuck since 3 months ago. I've lost 70+ lbs but I don't think I can "save" him as I did before. In fact, sometimes I tip as little over as I move about the house but I bet it is the loss of that center of gravity I had before.
lol You reminded me! I could tip right over standing still. Must be the change in our center of gravity.
