Exercise Question....

Good Morning WL Friends...
I am on the maintenance part of my journey and have a question that came up about Exercise! My Friend and I both disagree about what exactly burns off during exercise, so we agreed to ask our friends here help us out with your advice expertise. During Exercise what exactly gets burned off...Calories? Carbs? etc. Please help us settle this...lol Our bet consists of healthy lunch out!!! Thanks Everyone and Have a Wonderful Day!!
I agree. It isn't carbs or protein or whatever, it is calories. And after you exercise, your metabolism stays up for a while so you continue to burn at a higher rate.
