Good Morning. What's on your mind today?

Today I'm wondering if I should fight the panic stricken and go to the grocery store this morning before the snow starts, or wait until the snow stops and go tomorrow.  lol   That may not seem like a problem to some who are from smaller towns and suburbs, but around here it is something to think about and plan for.  I'm an introvert, so crowds drive me nuts and drain my energy. {sigh}  Anyway, that's what I'm thinking on this morning. It's suppose to hit here at 1 which is when the farrier is coming.  And we are scheduled for ice, not snow.  I hope he postpones.  I can't imagine standing out there while he trims 4 donkeys, a pony and puts shoes on another pony in 24 degree weather, even in the barn with the doors closed.  I was going to go to water zumba this morning but I don't really want to be out in it any longer than possible and that will be to feed the donkeys/ponies.  At least the generator is fixed so if we lose power again, we will be ok.

I'm ready for spring and we really haven't had much winter.

We were already prepared but did bring in more wood last night so dh didn't have to bring it in with ice on it...and sure enough, woke up to ice all over. Not safe out there. Our neighbor has a 4 wheeled vehicle and was trying to get out and all his wheels did was SPIN!

Stay safe and warm...and if you can avoid going, don't go to the store...too crazy!

While I miss the snow and all, I don't miss the insanity that happens prior to a storm's arrival.  I'm like you, Gina.  I don't like crowds... AT ALL!  If I can avoid them, I do.

Today I can't tell if I'm dealing with just allergies or a head cold.  I took care of my nephew last weekend for my sister.  Once again she went out of town for her "vacay" with her child sick.  He was doing a lot of coughing and sneezing.  Needless to say I've been nursing a sinus headache for about 3 days now and my usual fix of using the Neti pot isn't helping.  I had already been on my allergy meds, so I'm starting to think this is a cold.  So I'm just going to take it easy today and the weekend because I can't start my new job on Monday sick!

We have to go out tonight for our DGD's birthday and I'm so glad DH doesn't fear the roads. DH LOVES to go out when every one else is stuck at home but the only thing I can't through to him is that the shelves are bare at that point.  Right now my cupboards and fridge are pretty bare too so I might go out during my lunch if it hasn't started snowing yet.

I need to go to the mall tonight after work and pick up my watch that the band broke on.  I also need to go to Walmart, which is in the same mall.

Hey - I bought some new Skechers after we had lunch at the show store.  OMG they are SOOO comfy!  

It's really snowing hard here now. School is closing early. I went to the market so I could avoid the craziness at the larger grocery stores. Bought our lunch there which equals to about $3 a piece and its so good! Spreading poo in these temps suck big time!

I usually get groceries on my lunch hour.  Much less crowded than after work or weekends. 

My friend Betty is coming over tonight to do Wii zumba with me.  She usually does it with me 3x a week.  We also do easy Yoga and some pilates DVDs.  I am glad she comes over and MAKES ME exercise.  haha

I am sick of snow and it is still January!!  Probably worse this year cause I am FREEZING all the time. lol
