"eating my protein"
Hi guys,
Well, I am not having much luck with drinking protein shakes. I am 18 days out. I am getting 23 g of protein from roadside lemonade.
Other than that I am eating.... Cheese, wendy's chili, crab legs, greek yogurt, etc....
1/3 small wendy's chili 6g
piece of cheece 6 g
3 oz crab legs 16 g
greek yogurt 6g
1 sausage patty 4.5 g
piece of cheese 6g
FOOD: 44.5 g
Shake: 23g.
That was my food for yesterday. I am chewing everything to a puree. Getting 64 oz of water in.
At 18 days out, is that OK? GOOD? I am not letting one bite of anything in my mouth that isn't protein of some sort. (no applesauce, pudding, etc... which is what the doctor's orders still says to be on. I am CHEWING my food more than enough....
You are doing awesome for 18 days out. Keep doing what you're doing and increase the protein as you can.

Yep, you are doing fine. Keep trying various kinds of protein. Your taste will change. Whey protein is very easily digested so you may get more benefit from it than the food so it is worth working at. You can add protein powder to greek yogurt and to pudding, cottage cheese, etc to up the protein in those. Unjury chicken soup may be good for you too. It also helps get fluid in when you have only so much time and space to fit everything in.
