Hi Everyone! Checking in - it's been a long time
I don't post much anymore - I am in my last semester of grad school and that has taken so much of my time - haven't been focusing as much on my weight, etc. I do check-in on FB from time to time.
It is great to see so many of the veterans here. I cannot thank you enough for all the support you all give everyone - new or old here.
Just really wanted to check in to refocus. Carbs are getting to me - I think mainly from stressors. Also occasionally have Diet Coke, which I had stopped which I do think triggers carbs and other bad habits. I actually think the Diet Coke also makes me retain water - hadn't ever thought of that before, but I think it does. Anyway - luckily I am still at goal, but in my mind my range has been 130-135 and while last fall I was at low end, 128-132, now I am hovering around 134-136 one time I was 138!!! From all the years I have lost weight, I always ignored the advice of, "drawing a line in the sand and if weight goes to XXX then immediately start to get weight off". Well, that is what I am doing. I do not want my couple of pounds to turn into 10 or 20 or more.
Anyway - I am in process of getting a grip. I'm also training for a half-marathon which is a great stress reducer and lots of fun! I cannot believe how much I love my sleeve and my new life. I don't want to mess it up!
Thanks everyone!
Lynn

It is easy for those ### to sneak up on you. I am getting serious starting today after being on vacation for a week and coming home to scale shock. but I have my tool and know what to do.
Congrats on grad school and your training. Sounds like you are one busy lady.
