Weight loss before surgery

How much Weight can you lose up to when on a two week optifast diet before surgery?

My pre op diet was not optifast, but I lost 8 lbs in the 2 weeks.

We were on Optifast for 4 weeks.  We had to lose 8% of our excess weight and everyone did in my group.  I think for me it was 8lbs for the 4 weeks.
