Bio-Chem 100% Whey Protein Isolate
My daughter found a protein powder that is gluten free and lactose free. It's sweetened with Stevia and the ONLY protein listed is 100% Whey Protein Isolate.
It's from Biochem - 100% Whey Protein. The flavor she has is chocolate fudge.
I know there are some folks that have asked about gluten free and lactose free protein powder - and she thinks it tastes pretty good. She mixes it with her coffee and was looking for something that she could mix up at work quickly to get her through.
Anyway - thought I'd share. It has 120 calories for 2 scoops and I think 30g of protein, and since she does Weigh****chers, it's 3 points for the 2 scoops.

She bought it from a local Health food store.
From Googling it, I see several places carries it. I'll try and get some more details to narrow it down some more.

Awesome!
Somewhat related: One of the ladies posted this blog link on the DS Facebook group. I think it's a wonderful idea for folks that like to experiment with protein concoctions while keeping them low carb and more natural. I'm thinking of getting some Syntrax Nectar Medical and giving some of these ideas a try. http://thehealthyfoodie.com/2013/02/24/home-made-flavored-wh ey-protein-powder/

That sounds interesting.... and something I could see you doing!!
Speaking about DS. I was looking at a local advertising flyer we get in the mail weekly, and there was a Dr advertising the DS. Said he ONLY does the RNY to DS conversion (I'm thinking - really???). I looked him up on DSFacts, and he's there. Are there really enough failed RNY people (in the Detroit metro area) who can convert to DS to keep this Dr in business? I think not...
I betcha he does others...

Which, surgeon? Kemmeter is about the only one that has a really good reputation in MI. The others are ok but not the best and brightest according to what I've read here over the years.

Maybe he's claiming to be the only RNY to DS surgeon in MI, which might be true. I'm sure he does the other surgeries as well.
