Menus and Miles Sunday March 3rd

My favorite TV show is Love it or List it.  I wish I could decorate like those people but I guess if I had a crew and an assistant I probably could.  I would have loved taking you looking for house things.  I think my DD#2 new house turned out pretty darn good as I pat myself on the back....LOL.  I cringe every time I go to DD#1's house because she has the ugliest drapes I have ever seen. It makes the room so dark and dreary and old fashion looking.

Not being able to drive would make me wacko and depressed!   (((HUGS))) Jody!!!!!!!!!

I really think you need to get back to Protein coffee or something.  Protein helps me balance out the few carbs I eat.

Roz - I think we'd have a lot of fun!  I'm pretty proud of the way my little house has turned out so far and I get a lot of compliments on it. 

My DD and I went and I picked out a curtain for my half bath.  The water heater is in there too, and I'm going to put the curtain up to hide it.  I also keep my broom, mop etc in there too, so it will hide that too.  I bought it in an Eggplant - OMG the color is so awesome!  So, I tried picking out a vinyl tile and paint to go with it - funny how the light is so much different at the stores than at home... not loving the tile anymore and paint... ugh... .  I pulled out all the little sample paint jars I had from last summer and have been looking at them again.  I may have to change the curtain to get the look I want. 

Have you ever gone on Houzz.com?  I love that site - so many ideas and inspirations.  That's where I get some of my ideas for my decorating.  You can save them to ideabooks and go back later and look at them again. 

Yea... I need protein.. I know... 

I love the color Eggplant!  Things that don't match drive me crazy!!!  I've never tried Houzz....I'm going to have to check that out.  Personally I'm not very creative but once I find a picture or something that I really like I will hunt and hunt until I find the perfect thing to finish everything off.   I tease my DD because the only thing she hates in her house is the tile in her bathrooms that she picked out.  I didn't care for it at all but I kept my mouth shut because she just looooved it. 

We had little tiny flurries all day yesterday but nothing stuck. Son#2 REALLY misses the snow up there. He may be moving up there the 1st of April. Keep your fingers crossed for an interview he has this coming Friday.

I love crock pot chuck roast!  DH added that to the list for this week.
