plastic surgery

I am starting to research plastic surgery and the more I learn the more confused I become lol  Even though it will be quite a while before I am ready, I wanted to start thinking about my options.

Have any of you had PS and if you did, did anyone go to Mexico.  I think that may be the only way I can afford it.  (I am going to check into a residency program at Baylor in TX, have not called yet)

Dr Sauceda (sp?) has given me a quote and so has Dr Quiroz  and the price was almost the same, not enough difference to influence my choice either way.

Opinions please and be nice about the Mexico thing, I am not even close to rich, will be getting a loan so cost matters!

There's a plastics forum you should go check out, and quite a bit of people who used Dr. Sauceda.  I think I would go to him if I end up feeling like I need something done.

I also checked with Dr S before I had my plastics.  I was all ready to go, then found out my insurance would pay for the TT, so I went that route to start with, then paid for the "girls" myself a year later.  I didn't end up getting everything done I wanted to initially, but I've found with the redistribution and some added weight, the thighs kinda took care of themselves.  Now I hate them more filled in than I did as with the droopy skin, but I'm never happy with my body anyway.

Research all you can and ask all the questions you can.  I do recommend visiting the PS forum here on OH.  Some very nice people who are very willing to share their experiences and sometimes pictures.

Hi, I am in Northern Michigan near Traverse City (work in TC) I live 3 miles from Rapid City, between Rapid City and Kalkaska. 

I have looked at pictures, most are password protected.  I have been on Dr Saucedas forum I think, and to his web site.  Did you get your girls done with Dr S?

I am checking with the insurance for the TT, but lots of hoops to jump thru!!

Yes - I've asked before and can't believe I didn't remember!  Raised my kids in TC and moved a year ago from there. 

Yes, most are password protected, but if you ask you can usually get permission.

When I was going for my TT I asked insurance too - they read it out of the book.  You need to find a Dr that KNOWS how to bill insurance for it.  I talked to one in Charlevoix that said no - I ended up using a Dr in Novi - yea... had to travel, but luckily my daughter lived in Brighton which is close-by. 

No - I had both procedures done by the Dr in Novi.  After the TT I was very happy with his abilities and decided to go back for the girls.  I did have a quote form the local PS there that the local weight loss Dr's recommend - he wasn't all that more expensive, but I didn't know his work or anyone who had him do their PS.

The last time I researched Plastics in Mexico, I ended up zeroing in on those two surgeons. My friend used Sauceda and I loved how natural her face lift was. And that's all I know about the two of them.
