Someone said they could eat eggbeaters but not eggs. You might try that. I love breakfast but not until after a couple of protein coffees and an hour at least after I get up.

I can only eat eggbeaters but it has nothing to do with the WLS...mine is an allergy to egg yolks that has plagued me since I was 14. (I was also allergic to egg as a baby).
And I am like Price...I get up, have 2 protein coffees and then think about eating. Dh, on the other hand, eats 1st breakfast almost the min his feet hit the floor...he's ready for 2nd breakfast by the time I am ready for the first round, :)

It happened again, this time it was with my morning protein drink on Monday and today nothing happened. Will I ever figure out this body and what it is doing? Oh, well another pound lost, not the way I had planned it to go.
protein coffee....what brand? or do you make your own?
Gina has a protein coffee recipe. What I do is mix my protein (vanilla flavored) with half & half and splenda til it's smooth. I add a bit of coffee to warm it and keep it smooth. Then I mix it with the coffee.

When will I quit sabotaging myself. I have not figured this out. My entire life with each and every diet my behavior pattern is the same. . I reach within 5 plus pounds of my goal weight and I quit. My weight generally bounces around 133 to 135ish. Lately It is bouncing to 138 with 140 last week once. I have not been walking, and that plays a major role...maybe the biggest role. And it does not help I quit coming to this forum, which is my only place for support. I don't know what is wrong with me. I turn 58 on August 1st, and I would love to be at goal, again.

The thing about the gain this go round is because I'm not walking (I usually walk 3 plus miles per day), the change is showing my clothing. I had double hernia repair in April and caught a nasty chest cold right after. Sitting and gaining a few, mostly sitting, has definitely made my pants not fit correctly. I would love to lose 9 by August 1st, which should be easy if I would become as disciplined as I once was. We WILL do this.
