I'm soooo glad you posted!!!!   I don't know much about a revision either but from past posters I don't think switching from the band to RNY slowed them down like switching from one of the other major WLS.

I lost the majority of my weight within the first 8 months and then it slowed down.  I hope you took your measurements, if not take them now.  The times my scales didn't move were the months I lost the most inches.  Sounds Strange but that's the norm.

I was wondering how the face turned out.  What did you have done, was it super painful, expensive etc.?  I can hide all of my extra skin on my body but my face is really agining.

I'm in my 60's so I'd look crazy with no wrinkles but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have as many as I have now.  Dr. gave me a script for Retina A but it's helping with brown spots but as soon as soon as summer comes I'm pretty sure they will be coming back.

Smart Girl!!!!!  Can I ask you one question?  To late...I'm asking you anyway...lol.  Have you exercised (trained) your whole life and do you 100% intend to do it the rest of your life?

I've found that the ones who started this after WLS either got bored with it or after they reached goal thought they didn't need to do it any more.  They quit and then started gaining their weight back.  I've never exercised a single day so I have to keep my eating under control to keep my weight off.

I'm not the right person to answer, because I didn't have a revision. But - I can share my experience as a lightweight.

I can tell you that I had about 70-75 pounds to lose and I've lost 65 of them in 9 months. It has really slowed down, but I'm okay with it. I'm still learning to use my pouch and it's still learning how to do it's job.

Also, I stalled around month 3 ( I think )  because I was too active to be eating so few calories.  At first I wasn't sure eating more was right for me, but my body was clearly struggling. I was too tired to make it through the day without a couple of naps, and I was dizzy and nauseous all the time. I'm still losing at 1000 cals a day.

I think 4-5 pounds a month beyond the 6 month mark was about what I was experiencing.

I revised from lapband to RNY on December 7, 2016 at my highest weight of 208.  I've lost 33 pounds to date, which is about 49% loss of my excess weight.  I met with the doc today and he said to not to expect more than 4-5 pounds a month from here on out.  Not that I won't be happy with that, but of course I would like more, especially with eating 600 calories per day.  For you lightweights, how long did it take you to lose the last 35 - 40 pounds?

I had a 9 month follow up with the surgeon Wednesday this week. The PA told me I was at a good weight for my size and that I probably wouldn't lose much more weight, if any. I think I'll try to prove her wrong just because of this -- Everyone has bounce back weight so you want to go as low as you can so the bounce back puts you at a "Good" number on the scale for your body.

Roz you're absolutely right. I don't feel skinny or bony. I have plenty of fat left to lose

I am going to be adding in some intense weight training because in the 60+ pounds I've lost, 10 of them were muscle. I'm not at all happy with that.

Were all here for support, reach out anytime. I might be new like you, but I'm on your side! We got this. :)

Boring menu today, but for good reason. I spent most of yesterday in the kitchen playing with my new cooking gadget. There's a slight learning curve, so I expect to be cooking much of the weekend. I hope I get it figured out, I love sous vide egg bites, and mine are just not up to par.
