When I added the cottage cheese blended with skim milk, it caused my BS to rise. Or it could have been the sugar free Popsicles which have four carbs each. I think I OD'd on them.

Even though the the cottage cheese is 1% fat, it still has carbs as well as the skim milk. I saw my BS fluctuate from 102 to 160 and back to 120. Should I worry and maybe cut our the cottage cheese?  I ate  puréed chicken breast which had no effect on my BS. I don't want to go back to taking diabetes meds. On another note, my BP is back to normal.

Last week 123.0

This week 121.2

I saw some fluctuations this week, little over and a little under. I think I'm getting back in the groove. Feeling good, and ready to start strength training!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Good Morning....Rise and Shine!!!   The sun is bright coming in my sliding glass door that I had to move my chair to the side so I could see.  It's only 5 degrees this morning......  Fortunately I have a DH who gives door service.  Speaking of dropping off.  Have any of you had the opportunity to do the Walmart Grocery pick up service?  It has completely changed my life!!!   I spend less, make better choices, plan meals, and I don't have to fight the frustrating crowds!!

That's Awesome!!!   I totally understand how you could be feeling God's presence through this.  It takes a very special person to go through this process.

The girls at work all decided to quit smoking and I was so surprised how well they did.

Thank you so much it's good to hear from others who have adopted. I can't explain it but I just KNOW these boys are mine. i can see myself caring for them playing with them wiping snotty noses the whole bit. I can't wait.

That's wonderful!  Best of luck to you and your boys.  Our two youngest came to us through adoption and it was definitely meant to be, so if you feel that way I'm sure it will come through!
