Well I'm too exhausted to write a full report but it was a fantastic and emotional experience.  I had no expectations other than finishing, but because of the advice from the Pace Leaders Group at the Expo on Saturday at the Cleveland Rite Aid Half/Full Marathon, I decided to go with a pace group and the morning of the race I moved up a group and wore two wristbands............

I did run everything but the water stops..........and truth be told, my longest prior run was literally 6.2 miles in training...............but I do workout six days a week and obviously that helped, although not sure how...........

Here's my finish, details about the race and what an emotional high it was to come later.  AND I STILL HAVE NO SHIRT.

GREAT race!  especially considering your long run prior was just a 10K.  i'm looking forward to the full report, it took me until today to write mine, i was just to drained to think about the race in that much detail until today :)
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Thanks!  The upper respiratory infection I ran through, though, is kicking my a** still.............I've been on Levaquin and Prednisone (I have bad asthma) since Mon and last night I couldn't even sleep I was hacking so hard.  Was it worth it?  Of course...........but I think today will be my second rest day, I have to do about 90 lbs of laundry tonight WITH my kids at the laundromat so I'm gonna work thru lunch and leave early.  Working out would give me energy BUT my body is really weak..........I'm gonna err on the resting side.  I did my recovery run Monday..........and saw the chiro.  Only thing that was bad were my IT bands............par for the course.
