Sad Day
Sad but peaceful. My husband Paul passed away today just after my daughter visited him. He was ready. Thank you all for being my friends! ![]()

Oh, Liz!
What a blessing that your daughter came to see him today.
And we are so blessed to be your friends.

My deepest sympathy. I know we all feel for you and your loss. I am happy, though, that Paul did not linger and suffer long term during the end stage of the disease.
Much love to you and your children. I feel privileged to have shared in your journey through Paul's struggle with Alzheimer's. Thank you for including us all.
Hugs and strength and compassion.
Liz....such a cruel disease ! We are here for you. So glad DD was able to see him and that he passed in the loving setting you created. Deepest sympathies .

I am so saddened at the thought of your loss in the way that a leaving is a leaving no matter what the cir****tances. May you carry the wonderful love the two of you shared for the rest of your days. I do believe Paul has done and holds such a love right now. My prayers are with you and your family.
