Okay, I could not resist giving my BELOW 200 POUNDS pic its very own post. Finally got that 1 in the hundreds place! Have to be honest, too. I had extra bathroom time yesterday and I wondered if that would make the difference and it sure did! LOL! Gotta love a little Poop Attack!
Liz, I am looking forward to reading about your visit to Auschwitz. I'm doubt it will be "fun", but I bet it'll be worthwhile - even if quite sobering.
Have a dog coming over at 11:30 for a trim. Not really a client dog, since I co-own it and am going to be showing it, but not really one of mine either, so it feels like a client dog. Tonight I have a partner workout with my trainer. Not sure how that's going to go because she is inured, but she wants to work out.
Currently, I'm being entertained by Bug and Grizz rough housing. That little 9 pound puppy is brave. He gets right in there with Bug, who is close to 50 pounds, and just goes for it! They are a cute pair.
Not much else. I think I need to celebrate my entry in One-derland by doing a little Prime Day shopping. I think today is the last day of that sale. Or perhaps I shall go ahead and buy the two shirts I have had my eye on at Charles Tyrwhitt.
Thriving Thursday!
Thriving Thursday indeed! Get yourself a good gift!

Greetings all
It is bright and sunny here. Hope it stays that way for my friend's visit. There is a scenic drive near here that is spectacular if the sun is out but just a winding road if it is foggy. Hoping we get a good day for it tomorrow. Her latest is that she will arrive late today and will text me from Oregon. We shall see. I am mostly prepared (including just giving up on a few things) but the guest room is made up and all the sheets that cover the sectional due to dogs are washed. I may make a run for a few groceries. DH took our taxes over to the accountant and decided to go buy a bunch of deck plants to replace the ugly ones he has on the rails. Bad timing in my opinion but we do not discourage the removal of any junk.
Yow Peps, King for a Day! I thought OH ate my first comment so I posted a second. You must feel great. Enjoy - you earned it
Krackow Liz - somber place indeed. Don't blame you for being tired of packing and unpacking. Agreed that needing dress up stuff makes it all the more difficult. Also needing different shoes for different outfits. That is why the ship concept is more appealing to me. Still this has been a fabulous trip. Hope SIL continues to improve. Being in a hospital in a foreign country must be a little scary.
When I was a kid and our family took road trips we had a pajama bag that we just took into motels since we would drive until late and get up early. I don't know how our parents put up with that.
DD glad to hear your BFF son is hospitalized. Needs to happen. There is lots they can do.
So CC, Kirby swims in the lake right? But not the swimming pool. Go figure.
DH may make a costco run. Maybe I will get a roasted chicken to have on hand. One can always make a dinner from that
Got my waling done yesterday - even with a very tiny incline for part of it. Beach walking on tap for tomorrow.

Sounds like you are ready for company! Have a great visit!

Looking forward to hearing about your tour today Liz. Not a fun one but so important.
122.6 I think.
Bible study went well, house cleaning for tomorrow's BBQ has been started, initial food prep has been done.
Made Honey Lime Chicken and Avocado rice stack for dinner! Very good. I cheated and used Costco's microwave Cilantro Lime rice. Here is the recipe

Last night Greek Turkey meatballs with Tzatziki sauce was flavorful but the meatballs were a little dry, both from being overcooked (I think the temp listed was too high and time too long, as it was I took them out a good 5 minutes before the lesser time range). I also used 99% fat free turkey and there probably just wasn't enough fat to keep them moist. I also needed to add an egg to help with binding the meatballs together. I think I will slice up the leftover meatballs and make gyros. Here is the recipe if you want to give it a try
