I used these super stinky granules on my lilies this year and the rabbits finally left them alone!

LOL on Kirby helping you! I hate gardening - the bending over and/or kneeling I find to be very uncomfortable. I like the results but not the task. Hence the only planting I did here was one large pot on the front stairs.

Greetings all

Sun is out big and I am finishing up on my coffee. Gym is planned for today. I did make it yesterday and managed to do my whole walk even though I had forgotten my phone and had no musical selections. Toughed it out. Today I will remember it. Meanwhile I must get my hair washed. We are going to a Mexican restaurant with studio buddy which is always a chat-fest. Must put salve on my ears. And I decided not to go to this little studio meeting which is showing signs of tempest-in-teapot. I learned more background and also that no other board members are attending so I do not want to bear the full brunt of the *****ing by these people. Not my department. Not my problem.

So Liz we want to hear about the famous restaurant. Might be fun. Might be fun only once. Enjoy the fires. That sounds much better.

DD make good trouble at the rally. John Lewis is indeed one of the greats. Attending such events is one of the privileges (and arguably duties) of retired people. I would go except the walking is beyond me. So go for it. And yeah if I were you I would hate having other food show up in the pantry. Going through the house and discovering and tossing forgotten stuff is a whole dimension of activity. Kind of a treasure hunt. Kind of a disaster response. DH came home from the hardware store yesterday and was sort of hiding what he got.

CC so Kirby is a pot thief!!??!! Why are dogs so fascinated with black plastic pots? I had a dog once who loved them so much he would take them while they still had plants in them and dump the plants so he could run around with his head in a bucket barking. Yes we have deer here too that eat everything. Rabbits not so much. But oh the slugs and snails!! Our friend used to have a sling shot and he would shoot ice cubes at the deer from his deck. Did not work but he loved doing it.

Paula sounds like you indeed had a great day. You are such a chef!! Good on you.

Peps having more free time can seem challenging initially. You will adapt.

Well time to get moving and fold the multiple baskets of laundry that have accumulated.

Good that you skipped that meeting. It is impossible to please everyone and best to just ignore the complaining. They are painting the buildings at the timeshare I own at in Aruba. They had 2 color schemes that the members voted on. The one I like which was shades of teal lost to the shades of beige one. Such is life. Yes, it looks blah in the pictures we are seeing but it looks fresh. But you should hear people's complaints on the forum. Ridiculous. Another situation where you just can't please all the people.
