119.2 - why it's up 1.6 after 3 days at the same level baffles me but I'm sure it will settle down in a day or 2.
Yesterday it finally cleared in the afternoon after a week of rain and the sun actually came out. We went to our frequent Saturday afternoon venue for music then came home and finished the deconstructed pizza I made the other night. I was able to attend water aerobics before that even though my arms were a bit sore from the 3 vaccines. Still slightly sore this morning but not much.
This morning the bus leaves at 7:30 (of course). At some point today I need to give Justice a bath. He has a rather doggy smell. We have a Nine and Dine at 3 (nine holes of golf followed by a dinner). It should go off as planned now that it is finally dry though that was questionable up until late yesterday. We are playing in a foursome with good friends and we are all dressing up in pumpkin outfits of some sort or another (Halloween themed game). If all 4 team members are dressed up, points are deducted from the final score. Will provide pictures afterwards.
Have a surprising Sunday!

9 and Dine sounds like a lot of fun! I love that you guys are so active and have a great social life. That is the thing I'm really looking forward to in FL, besides the nice weather!
DSD here until Tuesday I think and then DS2 rolls into town for 2 days starting Tuesday. Nice that all the kids are trying to spend time with us before we move south.
Today our buyers are having an open house. If it doesn't go well, they are supposed to release us from our contract. 7 more days to get a solid contract on our house. Yikes!
Our neighbor was talking about how his parents should buy our house. DH just went over there to see if they are serious or not. I know the neighbor could use the help with kid herding. Their two girls play on a traveling volleyball team and are soooooo busy!
Gloomy day today with typical cool Fall temps for WI. Tomorrow we may all go to the pumpkin patch. It is about an hour away and the kids all have good memories of going when they were littles and like to still go as young adults. Caramel apples, fresh baked pies and muffins, petting zoo, corn maze, coffee shop, the whole shebang. Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be more of the same! Sweater weather!
Fall is a great time of year up north. I love the warmth here all year round but do miss the trees turning color, the apples and the fall activities.
One week! Yikes is right!

Surprisingly little movement on the scale this morning: 208.8. I thought surely I would be down at least a pound. Hmmmm...
I have two dogs to trim today. One will be easy peasy. The other will be a bit of work, but reasonable. Other than that, I'll take it easy. LOL... BFF is coming over tonight. We'll get dinner and maybe even take in a movie.
Not much else...
Super Sunday!
Well that's a quiet day for you after the last few weeks. Rest up!

Good morning! Like Paula's weather, it is cool and overcast here. If it's going to be overcast, I do hope it rains as it is very dry with no rain these last two weeks. Liz, you would probably be happy to send us some of yours. Peps, I wouldn't worry about not dropping any of the travel weight yet, your body is probably still in shock over what it endured. Sleep, hydration, and your regular routine will get it going in the next few days.
I've had some tea, and read most of the NYT Sunday paper. When I'm totally done with the paper, I think I will make a grocery list for Thursday's dinner party, and for our meals this week. Right now we have a huge pot of chili. DH will be willing to eat it one more day. After that, I will freeze the leftovers, which will be plentiful.
The only other plans are to meet our friends for dinner that went on the NY portion of September's travels. They had some wine shipped from NY, and a we included a couple of bottles and shared the shipping fee. We have one bottle of their wine from a winery that doesn't ship to Minnesota. We offered to bring it home in our checked luggage. So we will have a wine exchange this evening.
Tomorrow will be coffee, thrift shop exploration, and hopefully procurement of items on the shopping list I'm creating today.
Looking forward to the pumpkin themed pictures Liz!
Isn't it nice to be able to wait to shop on a Monday vs the weekend!

Greetings all
Oops, missed yesterday. I had a couple hours of early gallery duty followed by football. Our team won and it was an excellent game. Studio buddy came over so we watched our game plus parts of others. Whew, did not think she would ever leave. but she lives alone in a seriously crappy place so hard to be upset. This is the person who has been building a new house for going on five years. It is getting close and it seems like she would really want to pu**** to be finished but she mostly just wants to ***** about her contractors. Oh well.
So today's plan is to get my hair washed and go to the studio where I left my phone on Friday. I sold a lot of stuff lately and need to get busy on more. Then I need to do the gym which I cannot do without phone for music.
Liz the 9 and dine sounds fun. Except I would skip the 9. Glad it has dried out enough to play and get out.
DD meal planning for a week! What a grown up concept. And good idea. Kudos. Nice that you have that journal. Closest thing I have ever done to that is this. Continue to devour the sunday NYT. An actual paper newspaper seems such a luxury these days,
Yeah Paula neighbor's parents should buy your house. I sort of wish I had bought the house next door here though many for DH junk. Good luck with the whole sale thing.
CC no fun to have a leaky roof. They say flat roofs sooner or later will leak. Hope it gets fixed soon and that Kirby permits you to rest.
Speaking of resting Peps I still can't imagine traveling and walking all those dogs. Epic. Glad you are home safe with only the regular dog allotment.
Need to start getting in gear for Halloween. Mostly crap removal. Notice that I talk all the time about junk removal but rarely get it done. That would be my primary diary entry: need to remove junk; need to remove junk......
Some sort of hamburger item for dinner tonight. Maybe meatloaf.
Diane S.
Yes, removing all this junk is an endless task. Sisyphus anyone?
ETA: DH is currently out in the garage "making room" for some of my gardening stuff. I can almost guarantee that nothing has been thrown out, but carefully stacked and rearranged. As long as I can park my car in the garage, and get to my gardening supplies I am going to try and remain unbothered. One day I will get in there and start tossing/donating.
One benefit of moving is that it does provide an opportunity to get rid of junk. We have very little of it in the Florida house. And my extra stuff in Massachusetts is minimal as well. I find myself avoiding keeping anything extraneous due to the pain of clearing it all out while moving LOL. But talk to me in 10 years - I bet we will have filled up all the extra drawers and bins we have here by then.
