Beautiful picture and congratulations on a clean, fluffy Kirby! I love your views!

Pot roast is such a comfort food and really fairly good for you if you don't load up on gravy or potatoes.

Greetings all

It is overcast and there is that ominous feeling of a storm coming. The feeling that you need to hunker down. Wonder where that expression came from? Speaking of hunkering, it is indeed pot roast weather. Ours is gone but there will be another, Liz the balsamic vinegar sounds like a great addition. Good plan. I guess cooks differ on whether to season beef before cooking or at the end. I do it to start because I like the smell. Bay leaves and thyme.

Great photo CC. How cool to see that over the big rocks. And I agree, some dog brushes seem too pointy but it is hard to find one that is not. Congrats on a clean Kirby.

On the road again Paula! Hey there were reports of falling iguanas yesterday. Look out.

I ran errands today and went to the studio. Somebody came in to the glass studio and I think it was miss nazi salute. I ignored her.

I really love having a house cleaner and I am lousy at it. My mother eschewed housework and I never learned how to do it efficiently. While I was employed I had one for years and always loved opening the door to pine sol smell. But DD is right that having the right tools makes a big difference - a lightweight sweeper for hard surfaces etc. We got a big swiffer mop with a machine washable cloth which works well on our newer hard floors. I have one for the studio too since we must avoid clay dust.

Weird dreams - I still have them about work 22 years later. Also school dreams about not knowing where the exam is etc.

Peps you got a lot done today. More shows this weekend? Do you have a preferred dog brush?

Got some deli chicken for tonight as the pot roast is ka-put.

Those glass people won't let it go will they?

I do have good tools for cleaning (though not window washing). It is still a pain though I am pretty good at it (DH not so much).

The iguanas are back on their perches (not falling anymore). Overnight temps are up to the 50's, so warm enough for them to keep hold. BTW, all the lizards freeze when it is really cold. You have to be careful not to step on frozen geckos.
