Greetings all

Sun today. I guess whatever storm was brewing just fizzled. There are interesting clouds but mostly blue sky. I woke up rather early and did work at the studio. Stopped at the pharmacy and could not find my phone so returned to the studio. Well it was in my car all along as I hit the brakes to avoid a deer and my pursed dumped over.

CC that painting is great. Nothing wrong with a bit of marketing. It is a very nice piece. Enjoy the pottery event. Love that stuff and there are so many good artists in your area. So do you get demerits for the porta potties or what? Geez HOA president can just get a life. Stuff has to be fixed.

Liz you look great. The procedures were successful. Well worth doing. Sun screen for you!

Pox on your VRBO owner Paula. No refrigerator = no good. My brother's little dog fell into the pool when he first arrived - thinks the dog did not understand the nature of a pool. So watch your dogs. Can't wait to hear reports when you get into your new home.

Peps that dinner sounds great. The ultimate comfort food.

DH brought home gourmet veggie pizza from the romeo lunch at Round Table. I am grateful for no pepperoni which I just can't eat anymore. No clue why they decided to eat at that place as there are many small local restaurants around here but I never look a gift pizza in the mouth.

Yes, pizza is great stuff. I don't like meat on mine either especially not pepperoni.

And yes, lots of sun screen and a big hat now. I have been putting a 70 spf on my face every morning. What I think is weird is that I started using sunscreen all the time when I was in the sun before some of those spots appeared. They were from long-ago sun exposure. I still get 2 more laser treatments so hopefully can get the remaining spots on the edges of my face taken care of.

I don't like meat pizza. My favorite is just cheese and fresh mushrooms!

Diane glad you were able to break for the deer and not hit it, even if your purse was not spared. DH texted me he already got a deer , but unfortunately, it was with the car on his drive up north to deer camp. Luckily it was just a glancing blow with no damage to the car, and the deer ran off into the woods. Crazy way for him and our DS to start their hunting weekend though.

I'm at my parents house, where I have been cleaning, washing sorting, organizing... one task was taking 3 or 4 boxes of like products (example large bandaids) that were open and half used, and condensing them down into one box. My Mom uses depends, and there are opened boxes all over the place. I condensed those down into fewer boxes, and stored them all in one place. I washed a bunch of clothes, and all the throw blankets they use while in their recliners. I have two more days where I will need to keep busy so I don't go crazy. Now the TV doesn't work either. I think I can watch the local news on my laptop. Getting their wifi code is another impossible task, because no one can ever remember what it is or where they put the slip of paper they wrote it down on . DH reminded me I could do a hot spot from my phone, and it is working great.

The last few nights we saw the northern lights, but dimly, because we are south of all the city light from Minneapolis. I'm hoping the solar storm is going strong yet and DH and DS can see the lights up north. They are in dark sky country, miles from any kind of city.

Hunting kind of creeps me out but I had an FIL who did it and would eat some of the products of his trips so can't say much. My DS is a super animal lover and has told me that I should not go on a safari in Africa even if hunting is not included just on principle because he says most of the companies who do it also have trips where beautiful animals are killed for sport.

Seems like there is a lot you can do at your parent's home to keep you busy. The weekend may seem very long for you. Sorry!

You have been busy at your parents house! You are doing a very good and needed service for them, even if they don't express gratitude!
