117.4

Last day before the crowd arrives. We still have a couple of errands and some quick cleanup (vs last week's full cleaning), but we are mostly ready. DH has an itinerary written up.

I think DH's younger daughter and her husband are having some difficulties though DH doesn't want to think about that. They have been married for 7 years but the husband hasn't worked for the last 6. DSD has a great job and he has a trust fund so they are fine financially but he does nothing around the house except play on his computer and drink beer. Lots of beer. They have no children so he has little responsibility. A couple of weekends ago DSD called from the Cape House where she stayed alone that weekend though her husband was supposed to go. She was crying and told her Dad that she was just stressed out over a lot of things. Her husband called last week to tell DH that he shouldn't buy him any alcoholic beer (just 0% beer). So I am thinking that something happened and they are trying to work it out. As I said, DH would rather ostrich from it, but I told him if that is what happened it could be a good thing. The husband never looked drunk but he was consuming a huge amount of beer daily (we saw all the empty cans). Hopefully they will work it out.

Nice night out with new friends we have met in the community. Tonight we may go to Happy Hour for a bit but we are eating leftovers at home. But before that there is the Justice walk, yoga, then the remaining errands. Have a fantasy Friday!
