Greetings all

Mixed day of sun and fog but mostly sun. It was sunny by the bay as I drove to Scrabble where I BEAT THE SHARK by a large amount! Lost the other two games by very little. So I am feeling smug about Scrabble. After that I went to a furniture store and ordered an ottoman to go with the sectional. I want to put my feet up more. DH does not yet know he is going to have to move some stuff. Not for 6 weeks. Next was some studio time glazing followed by a run to the gallery to deliver new stuff. So much of the day was driving up and down the 101.

Watched the last of The Beast in Me last night. A good thriller. Must find new stuff.

Sounds like everyone is shaping up Christas plans. Congrats to everyone who doesn't have to be the main cook. I have not yet received my mission assignment yet so we shall see. I know I will make chicken liver pate for those who like it.

DD I have seen some web site that has all kinds of old china for replacement purposes but can't remember what it is. But those sites will find you if you search. Wonderful that you give new life to beautiful old dishes.

Leftovers tonight. Gotta get to that gym tomorrow. Enough goofing off.

Congrats on beating the Shark!

We will be in an Air Bnb for Christmas so I ordered a premade meal from the grocery store DC1 works at. Ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, dinner rolls and French silk pie! $90 and will feed our whole crew!

Hmm, I wonder if the shark has a knickname for you after you trounced him!

Congrats on beating the shark! I always have my feet up on a couch or on an ottoman/pouf. The only way to relax IMO.

Woohoo for Octordle! My cousin, David, turned me on to it. He would be thrilled there is another convert.

Today the vent people came back to finish up. And wonder of wonders, the contractor was able to find a source for some purple flagstone that I have slabs of on top of pillars along my front entryway. I have asked so many people if they can find me a new slab because one of them has crumbled from the freeze/thaw cycle and no one has been able to find me one. They found me one in a day. So exciting!

But the most exciting thing today was my BFF and his designer came to shop "Ceci's attic". They CLEANED ME OUT! multiple tables, lamps, chairs, mirrors, and a ton of tchotchkes. What a relief to know it's going to a good home and I can visit it!

His designer, Anna, I've known through him for a while. She is a whirling dervish who can't sit still and basically just goes room to room moving all your stuff. She even re-hung paintings and a mirror she thought were too low. While a couple of ideas I liked, most of it I moved back when they left! We were supposed to go to lunch, but she was so busy rearranging my house we didn't have enough time.

The landscapers' plumbing guys came and finally re-hooked up my broken fountains with new pumps. Hallelujah after two months! They are absolutely filthy with raccoon and bobcat excrement and dead scorpions. I'm going to have to have the guy that cleaned my fountains come back and drain and clean both of them. They also tested my irrigation system, and found and fixed a leak where a varmint had chewed through the pipe.

After all that I'm looking forward to a quiet Wednesday!

Yay that your BFF can use your "old" stuff! I can't believe his designer friend rearranged your whole house without asking! Yikes!

Hopefully no more house stuff for awhile! You've had your fill of repairs!

She's talented, but a little nuts. I would never use her because of the nuts part!
