You have a lot of energy to attack that level of cleaning. I have to admit that I would have to hire someone.
It does sound like the German word for binging is similar to "pigging out". There must be another more accurate term (which you would think would be used to target users of the app)?

My body is weirdly shaped so clothes shopping is a pretty terrible experience. But I just ordered some jeans from Nordstrom with zero hopes of them fitting right and they are awesome! When does that ever happen? The brand is Frame, they are more trouser-like in design, but not baggy in the rear and long enough for me. And high-waisted, which feels really nice as mid-rise feel like they are falling down on me, partly because they are on my triangle/no waist shape and partly because they hit at the numb band around my middle from plastics. Never in my life have I bought a pair of pants that cost $278 and it's totally worth it because they fit! I ordered a second slightly different pair, same brand, $70 more (ack), but I think they might have a wider leg and these might be plenty wide. So those may go back when they get here. Neither are bell-bottomy/flared/bootcut which I hate on me. Nor are they that awful "barrel" shape that's so in right now. Who wants to intentionally look bowlegged? Anyway, woohoo!
Roof deckers are back. Sawing and banging. They reiterated they should finish next week. Yay.
Have any of you ever gotten the deli meals from Whole Foods? You pick a protein and two sides. It's $13. I can eat a lot and those last me at least 2 meals. So when you don't feel like cooking, it's a whole lot cheaper and healthier than other take out of fast food. I got turkey meatloaf, a broccoli salad and roasted potatoes. Yummy. I recommend it if you have a Whole Foods nearby!
Kirby is staring at me subliminally telling me he wants to walk, so I better get on that. Take care everybody!
Congrats CC on finding a properly fitting pair of jeans! Totally worth every cent. You will get a lot of use from good ones. I can totally relate to never finding pants that fit though my fit issues are different, the problem is the same.
The whole foods deal sounds great. Go for it. Wishing you a new roof deck soon.

If the pants fit they are totally worth it! Good find as it sounds like you have a tough time finding clothing that fits you comfortably.
I read some article recently that said that the barrel jeans are already going out of style (probably because almost no one likes them). Surprisingly it also said not to get rid of skinny jeans because they may come back - that's what I was looking for (whether I should dump them).

Greetings all
Lazing about on yet another sunny day. A big storm is due Monday so I must appreciate this sun. DH is involved in updating all the Apple tvs and devices as he regards an update as something that requires instant attention. Soon there will be one more Apple device as I ordered my Apple watch. I still have some doubts but still think the medical monitoring is a good idea plus it will have cellular connectivity so it can call for help if I fall down somewhere. I have a friend who actually used this when she fell and no one was around, I also had a tach episode today but not much of one.
Yay you Peps for all that house cleaning. Deep clean that you won't have to do often. Is your vacuum full or orange dog hair like ours? I bet you are going to suddenly drop a few when you least expect it. Our house is looking pretty ragged - dog foot prints. Our cleaner injured her knee about 10 days ago and missed one cleaning already. DH has stepped up with some of it but still....
Cookies DD! I am inspired. I am making a list since I don't think we have any flour or sugar in the house. Wishing you happy baking.
Yow CC that rescue looked perilous! It does not appear that anyone was doing anything foolish but who knows. Around here people do dumb stuff like go on a beach without tide awareness and then the coast guard has to pluck them off a cliff. Coast guard base is near here and we see the helicopters flying around all the time doing training. We are grateful for their efforts.
Liz your tree looks great. Your view, not so much. I hope those painters finish soon. Meanwhile enjoy a few quiet days.
Today's plans are gym and maybe studio. Plus I need to go back to CVS and get all the stuff I forgot to get yesterday. List please.
Gallery duty tomorrow and I am hoping for a busy day so the time passes.
Anybody do pilates? I think I need it.
Diane S
They have Mat Pilates in our fitness center here. Women who take it seem to love it. I may try it sometime but right now my yoga and water aerobics are enough for me.

Wow, good on DH to continue to maintain his weight loss. We all know just how hard that can be. Your couple's Christmas celebration sounds lovely.
Friends, it is getting coooold here. I went to the grocery store this morning, and grabbed a few more things. We would be fine without this little trip, but a store a little bit further than the one I usually go to was having a great Friday sale: cans of beans for $0.49 and other such staples. The important task: I filled the car up with gas. Again, we had 1/2 a tank on board, but we'll need a full tank for the drive to Duluth on Sunday afternoon and I did not fancy DH having to fill up the car with a -27 windchill. Or worse yet me!! So we're all set to ride it out from tonight until Sunday morning. The temp bottoms out Sunday morning at 5am, and then should start rising, ending with 20 above by Monday morning.
I didn't get as much baking done last evening as planned, because we discovered Rudolph was on, the one with Burl Ives. The nostalgia with that one is so strong. I remember being so excited to introduce it to my kids, but they were very unimpressed and still don't get why I love it so much. Luckily, DH enjoys it, so we stop whatever we are doing each year when it is broadcast and watch together.
So. some more baking today, and then i'm going to close the cookie shop down. I will get the guest bedroom ready for DS and his DGF tomorrow. I also will get started on a Christmas stocking for his lovely girlfriend. My kids have quilted stockings made by my Mom. I obviously can't get the same fabric, but I bought some that has complimentary colors, and I'll do some hand quilting on it. She is going to be with us Christmas morning so I want her to have a homemade stocking of equal size and filled with the same goodies as DS and DD.
