117.4 - down .8, why I don't know.

The house is more or less ready though the kitchen faucet broke yesterday so last minute cleanup of dishes is via the bathroom sink. DH is delegating responsibility for getting it fixed to his DD and husband. Will be interesting to see if they take care of it or we have to do it when we return in late spring.

A few last minute things to do this morning like putting the tabletop Christmas tree back in the basement. We still wanted to be able to sit by it with coffee this morning. We leave in about 45 minutes and should be home by 3 at the latest (if our flight is on time). We had been taking Breeze airline between our local Florida airport and Providence previously but JetBlue just added flights to that airport from Boston so we are taking it back. The airport in Florida is tiny so it is a challenge for them to juggle two major airlines.

It will be 80 when we arrive but tomorrow the high is supposed to be 63 with a low of 38. Yikes!

Water aerobics was fun this morning! I won't go the next several days due to the cold front that Liz mentioned. Perhaps a good walk instead! No biggie if I have to bundle up a bit for a walk!

Thinking I will take down Christmas decorations tomorrow. Also need to clean the floors again. Seems like the all tile floors get dirty fast. Carpet probably just hid it more! Dusting is in order too!

Hello Fresh came today, so that will be 3 meals this week. My favorite chicken Schwarma bowls, a chicken fajita lettuce wrap and just in time for the cold weather, chicken chili!

For sure! I was complaining about the cold coming and DC1 just wasn't having it, no support for poor Mom!

Yeah, tile shows everything. Though ours is wood-like ceramic so not as bad as light tile. But even so, I am glad to now have someone coming every 2 weeks to do a thorough cleaning of it (and the other stuff).

I REALLY need to look into Hello Fresh again. I was planning on doing this fall but never got around to it. But then we are busy with company or travel until mid-February now.

What's nice is you can pause a week whenever you want to!

Our MI neighbors spend a lot of time at a second home and are always forgetting to pause theirs. So we have to shlep over there and get it and store it until they return... Though Liz is likely too organized to do that!

The sun is out and the dogs are basking on the deck. DH is basking in his big chair. I am making a plan for the day whi*****ludes quite a bit of studio time. When it is sunny in the winter my south window gets some intense sun which results in clay stuff drying out quickly. Kiln opens today but I don't think I have anything. I must get more stuff made this year. I did the gym yesterday but think I will skip today. The chicken last night was good but now there is a lot leftover so need another plan.

Yep Paula tile floors demand cleaning. Since we got rid of the carpet our floors seem more dirty. I know the dogs track in the same amount so no telling how much was in that old carpet when it got tossed. We have been a month without the house cleaner and it shows. Enjoy the mail order dinners.

Not much else. I need to make some eggs and get going. It does not seem like Monday but this month has been a blur.
