My mind mostly ignores the bad years at the end and focuses on the good years. I hope the same is true for you!

I am sure that the good memories will continue to arise and overtake the bad. Probably won't take a long time either.

120 on the dot again.

Started the day with water aerobics, a little time sunning by our pool and then DH and I went shopping for a golf cart. Our new ride should be delivered next week!

Sickness is still lingering. I felt more congested and fatigued again today and did take a bit of a nap this afternoon. Big Mac salad for dinner.

Hope your sickness doesn't become worse Liz. And boo that CC and Bonnie are still struggling with their sickness too. Whatever this is, it is a bugger!

Sorry you are having so much discomfort Peps. And yeah, the weight gain if from surgery for sure. I know I was up quite a bit even with belly and thigh skin removed!

Enjoy your time with DS before the cruise Liz! I guess every year there is a ladies cruise with gals from my community. Sounds fun but I want to prioritize getting together with all of you first! Are we still thinking Sedona in the Spring? If so, we should set dates and perhaps get a Airbnb to house at least some of us!

DD, I know this time is difficult and overwhelming with things to do. Your Dad sounds like he is still in shock really. It may not really sink in for him until the funeral is over and he is alone. Like Diane said, take time for self care too. I'm glad DH can be with you. He indeed is a rock and a rock star! You two were made for each other!

Yay for big sun Diane and leftover pizza! We have a fridge full of leftovers right now. That is what is for dinner tomorrow night!

I loved the little golf cart I had when I lived on the west coast. We aren't allowed to have them here.

Sedona in the spring should work for me. We currently have few plans though we will likely go away in March as it will be our 5th anniversary.

So my Mom had a BFF who has passed away. Her daughter had a challenging relationship with her own mother, ( the BFF) but loved mine. She just called , drunk, wondering why I hadn't told her my mother passed, that she had to learn about it from another friend, that she had a pact with my Mom that my mother would call her if she needed anything, but she didn't call, that she and my mother had long talks but what they talked about, she wasn't going to say. Well, that was fun. Can't wait to see her at the funeral.

Oh boy. Don't need people like that to contend with. Hopefully she will be sober at the funeral.

Oh DD, I'm sorry this person called you up drunk and had to add more sting to an already hard situation! You deserve so much better!
