120.6 - Yikes! Up by 2 pounds and I haven't been this high since last April. Not that it is out of range but still. I don't feel like I have eaten differently though I have felt a bit constipated. I sure hope that's it.
Good day yesterday in Fort Pierce. It was quite warm but breezy. We saw a whole bunch of manatees lounging around in the marina there. They love warm water and sun.
Today the bus leaves at 7:30 (in an hour) for the usual breakfast. We have an airboat ride booked at 10:00 so Justice may end up with a shorter walk than usual. All the other kids have gone on airboat rides, but DS hasn't so I am glad we could fit it in. They are better when it is warm out like today because lots of gators will be swimming and lounging around. Tailgate party at the clubhouse this afternoon.
Have a sublime Sunday!

Another gorgeous winter day here! These beautifully crisp, clear, chilly mornings make me unreasonably cheerful.
The goal today was to be off Percocet. Not happening. However, I went 9 hours between doses. What I forgot is that I don't have any extra strength acetaminophen at home. Ibuprofen is not recommended because of its blood thinning qualities. So, as the soreness got to be a bit much this morning, Percocet was the only option. Another day on the stuff won't kill me, but I was hoping to work on the club newsletter today. The Percocet heightens my natural inclination to procrastinate (not to mention inhibits my ability to concentrate)!
I have not weighed since I got that last inflated scale reading. However, I pooped before bed last night! My last BM was Tuesday. I felt accomplished and relieved that it finally happened, even though it was rather uncomfortable. Reminded me of post VSG days!
Now that I've had gut movement, I think I will take my shot. I'm about 4 days over due.
Liz, did you do a CO2 Fractionated laser treatment? That is what I had done around my eyes as part of my procedure. The results are incredible. I am amazed, and I'm not even close to being completely healed in that area. It's like baby skin under my eyes! Though I'm sure the swelling is part of the smoothness, but still!!!
Diamond D, will you leave your parents' house today and return home? That will be tough, but a good step forward in the process. I'm sure your days are running together a bit right now. I'm glad you have Brazil to anticipate. You are due something joyful.
I had IPL laser - really just removes age spots.

I agree with DD - I usually stop them because my belly gets so uncomfortable.

119.8, yesterdays weight wasn't a new low but a tie for low weight.
I was able to get in water aerobics before church. I left just a hair early but probably didn't need to. Church was great and then we went out for breakfast. I had one of the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. It was a BLT one with avocado. The Hollandaise sauce was nice and lemony and the poached eggs nice and runny! Yum!
I'm loving the golf/tennis dresses I have been getting off of Amazon, just ordered one more for a total of 4 now. Liz, I think you would really like them with your active lifestyle! I'll post a pic of today's choice on TT!
Sunning by the pool and trying out my new water resistance equipment is the plan for this afternoon.
Hope you get a beach or pool day Liz. Is that something DS enjoys. We've enjoyed the air boat tours in the Everglades but I have not done that for many years! The weight gain you had is not a real gain, must be retaining water. I suspect a big drop tomorrow for you!
Sorry you are still having pain Peps. I stopped using aspirin and Ibuprofen after VSG per my surgeon's recommendations so I always have extra strength Tylenol on hand. Glad you are enjoying your crisp, sunny winter days!
Did you post the dress on TT? I can't see it if you did. Curious minds...

Greetings all
Another sunny day and even my Apple watch concurs. We often get a couple of sunny weeks in January without much rain. It appears calm but there are wave warnings. No need to warn me.
So DD has me thinking about grief and my experiences as an estate and probate lawyer. I learned that people grieve in very different ways. Some busy themselves with financial and paper work details and want to rush the process to the point of seeming crass. Others curl up in a ball and can't answer the phone or open a letter. Still others become very angry at every little thing and want to fight and argue. Some get hyperactive. Conclusion is that there is no right or wrong way and one should not pass judgement on those whose grief style is confusing. It is probably good for DD's dad to get out and walk and to find puttering activities. But DD you will have no difficulty in finding plenty to do over the next week or two. Sending strength.
Pizza for breakfast today. My fave.
Manatees Liz! So love those creatures. And alligators, not so much but the boat ride sounds fun.
Peps don't be a hero on the pain pills. Dr. Cirangle told me ibuprofen was ok to take as long as I took it with a bit of food. Still I use it sparingly. Glad you also have a sunny winter day which is mood enhancing.
Paula cute dress. That could well be the Florida uniform. Yes you need to catch up on sunning.
CC hoping the sinuses are calming down.
There is a sort of new little inn here called the Humboldt Bay Social Club. Looks like they have small plates and such so I will make a point to try it out. It is way out on this peninsula on the far side of the bay so kind of out there but I bet it has a great view. Maybe su****oo. I am making a sort of new years resolution to eat out more as I am sick of cooking and for a rural area we really have a lot of interesting restaurants.
Yikes learned I have gallery duty tomorrow. Go thing I am not oversheculed. today will be gym and studio.

Oh, I take ibuprofen. It's my go to for headaches. Acetaminophen won't touch my headaches for some reason. And of course, it's not an anti inflammatory, so in my book, it's a bit of a why bother... The reason the plastic surgeon doesn't want me taking it, if at all possible, is because there is a higher likelihood of bruising when taking ibuprofen after surgery. So far bruising seems minimal, if at all. Right now the swelling is what is noticeable and cartoon like!
