Typing this outside of OH to copy in as it seems a little wonky this morning.
Yesterday was fairly productive. The refrigerator arrived around noon. It took 2 hours to get the old one out and the new one set up because the doors had to come off because of the way the counter protrudes. But it is humming away and producing ice and my wine cooler has returned to just holding wine.
I ordered the blinds for the bedroom yesterday. Waiting to get an appointment for them to come and measure. I also ordered a bunch of paint samples for the bedroom. After the refrigerator arrived, we went food shopping and I made chili con carne (no beans) and cauliflower hummus. I used essentially the same recipe for the chili that I used to use with beans but increased the tomatoes and peppers. It tasted great but next time I will add a larger quantity of ground turkey.
The cyst was removed quite painlessly and it didn't even hurt later when the anesthetic wore off. Because of the location, changing the bandage is impossible for me to do so I will have to have help before and after showers for a while. What a pain.
Today we walk, then I have to have lab work done. It is a fasting lab, so I haven't had coffee yet. I only drink one cup but I really need it. I will have it after my lab work. Will probably have to wait for my shower too as DH will be at the gym until after that.
We are going to Fort Lauderdale for the night to see DH's son and daughter-in-law who are here for a few days from Poland. Quick turn around - we should be gone for about 24 hours.
Not much else to report. Have a total Tuesday!

191.6 The day trip was fun (we went to Cave Creek), but no one bought anything except lunch at a cute outdoor restaurant. The plants down there are so different than up here (3600' different in elevation) and I was a little jealous at the greenery and flowers they can grow mid-winter, not that this winter is wintering just yet.
Kirby had a fine time with his grandpawrents and got a nice walk that tuckered him out.
We're watching Dept Q on Netflix, which I had seen but thought they'd like. You have to make it through the first episode which is pretty dark and sets everything up. So they thought I picked a dud until episode two. But then it gets really good. There's a new season on the way.
Today the HVAC guy is bringing me two new thermostats that he was able to get through a warranty claim that the last HVAC people never considered. So glad I called them. Other than that, not sure what the plan is today...
Take care all!
We really liked Cave Creek when we were there in October. My BIL's home is in a community near there.
I am excited to hear that Dept Q has a new season coming. We really enjoyed the first season.

Good morning from wet, windy, thundery, cold Northern CA. (I have wondered for several years why my area is considered Northern California, when we are actually almost smack dab in the middle of the state. Where Diane S lives is truly northern CA. I think back in the day LA was in the south and San Francisco was considered the north and it's just stuck. To hell with geography!) Of course, I just took a little ADHD trip on the computer to verify my geographical thinking and discovered the Ano Nuevo State Park is the mid point of the California coastal route. That's about 90 minutes south west from here. I also discovered that the city of Madera is the actual midpoint of CA and that at the mid point on the state on Hwy 99 they have planted a pine tree to represent the north and a palm tree to represent the south showing where the north and the south meet. Who knew California had its own version of the Mason-Dixon line?!
199.3 this morning. Yippee!
I had planned on fetching the RV today, but will wait until Thursday. It's calm right now, but we have severe winter weather and wind advisories until late afternoon. I don't need to be driving a 12 foot tall 32 foot long vehicle over the pass in gusty winds with wet roads.
I'll visit dad after lunch do some things around the house today instead. Yesterday was spent doing not a lot. I watched a lot of the Olympics (guilty pleasure), worked out, did a little closet cleaning, dog food prep, and puttered away the day.
Facial healing continues. The numbness is holding on, but my ears are feeling more and more normal. Incision healing is doing beautifully. I have one that will need revision in May, but the rest are beautiful.
I don't think I mentioned that I had another DEXA scan last Friday. I was pleased to finally be under 30% body fat. I was at 29.5. And my lean mass didn't decrease at all! It was actually UP by .7 of a pound, while body fat was down 1.1 pounds and total weight was down by by .2. True body composition change while maintaining a stable weight. Pretty cool! Next scan will be mid May.
Not much else around here.
I saw that California was having nasty weather and wondered if you were affected. Definitely best not to drive in it with an RV!
The numbness from my facelift seemed to take a couple of years to fade to where I don't notice it. I think I am still not as sensitive in some places but am used to it.
Great Dexa especially considering you couldn't work out for a few weeks. And congrats on 199.3!

Greetings all
Lazing about here as the weather clears up. I woke up to rain and hail and there was thunder and lightning. Some of the hail accumulated for awhile and allegedly there were a number of car wrecks. Makes me chuckle because this bit of hail is nothing like a good old midwestern snow and ice storm where there is nothing but a few road ruts in the deep snow and they close the gates to I-80. But it is lighter to the west so I will venture out in a bit. The gallery is out of small bills so I might as well do that errand and do the gym.
Yay Peps on your weight number and dexa result. I suspected you were building muscle mass. Good job. And yeah the olympics are fun to watch - even stuff like the bobsled is interesting. There is a funny youtube video of people doing olympic sports at an airport and using wheeled suitcases for curling...
Congrats Liz on a new fridge. Now you can start over with new stuff to toss after a year. Glad the cyst removal went well. That coffee will be great when you finally get it.
Nice sounding road trip CC. Arizona really has varying terrain and plant life. Glad you could have a fun day without worrying about Kirby being entertained. And yeah we loved Department Q. It gets better with each episode. So glad there will be season 2.
I made the hamburger cabbage dish last night. Pretty good. It would be better with some noodles but isn't everything?
Diane S.
