So sorry to hear about Blitz. Does he have a specific disease?

Greetings all

Mixed day today but nice. I did my gym walk and managed to avoid the cameras there for a promotional video. There is a beautiful yoga studio there with an ocean view and I hardly ever see anyone in it. Maybe it is mostly morning classes since I am never there until mid afternoon. After that I did my usual studio stop and glazed and finished a few things. Life in the slow lane....

Yikes Peps so sorry Blitz is sick. I sure hope the dietary stuff gets it under control. Not fun. Does he want to eat? I assume you are doing rice and such. Poor baby.

Fingers crossed on house stuff Paula. I hope you get the one you like best. Glad you are healing quickly.

Hey Liz the place looks great! And I cannot believe you moved furniture, walked Justic and then went to aerobics. That is a lot.

Dinner out last night was good. I had scallops - something they have not offered before. Good food and great view. Pic in a bit.

So the dogs have managed to make footprints all over the clean floor. Thanks dogs. They have a big digging project going on under the shed and I am afraid to look.

Love your new furniture Liz! You certainly have an eye for design!

122.8 today, even with swelling. Did better today with keeping my legs elevated more!

Had my two week follow up check with the PS PA. Stitches and staples removed. She thinks the incisions are looking very good with just a little break down on one of them (my butt!) that I was already aware of. I do a thorough investigation of my incisions with a mirror everyday.

Hello Fresh dinner tonight was edible but I won't be ordering it again. It was cooked onion, tomato and kale with some garlic and steamed tilapia. One of my favs is their Schwarma!

Getting nervous about the house hunt. The one we like the most so far is about $20,000 over our budget and I think it is already priced at a loss for the current owner. We can try to lowball it if it still is our #1 but I wouldn't be surprised if he wouldn't accept it! All the rest are in our budget but not all are fairly priced so we will probably bid lower there too. The other nerve racking part is that our buyer's buyer isn't having any offers on their house and could put a kibosh on the whole thing! I hate contingencies but we will have to have one too!

So sorry to hear about Blitz! Boo is right! Praying the new diet will do the trick for him!

204.5 - I truly am at a loss as to why the scale continues to move upwards. Oh, well... Maybe it's time to focus on macros. I haven't counted protein in months. I could be a little lower than I need to be.

Blitz is sick. Bad sick. His prognosis is really dependent on if I can get him stabilized through diet and simple meds. Good news is because I requested the blood panel yesterday, the vet was able to catch the disease before Blitz got critical. So, now I follow through with dietary changes and the meds and see what happens. Kind of a waiting game. The vet wants me to take him for an ultra sound. I'll get that scheduled, too. Anyhow, BOOOOO....

Last couple days have been busy-ish. Not complaining one bit, though. It's nice to be busy doing things I want to do, rather than HAVE to do.

Will go visit Dad in a bit and then have to get the last few things on my to do list done. I also hope to finish the local dog club's newsletter tonight while Ron is at choir practice.

Wonderful Wednesday, peeps.

117.6

Yesterday mostly went as planned except that the guys picking up the old sleep sofa were 1.5 hours later than the 3 hour window. If I were smart, I would have left the furniture/rug moving that I planned to do after they left until today, but of course I didn't. I wanted to move the unbelievably heavy rug over by a foot because of the new furniture arrangement. By the time I accomplished that I was sweaty and only had 1/2 hour to get ready for Ladies Night. But I did it! (see the rug in new position below) Ladies Night was fun - good to get out and see friends. And the food was much better than the last one when they were all just appetizers. We had sushi, salmon sliders, and other good stuff.

Today I need to start walking Justice in the next 15 minutes so I can get back to change for water aerobics. After that, I am moving a few pieces of furniture back onto the carpet in preparation for the new couches coming this afternoon. And I need to find my usual darn reading glasses which somehow disappeared last night.

Have a whiplash Wednesday!
