Gorgeous! What a great local you live in for blooming flowers.
Perhaps your self described flaws "weigh" on you, because so many attributes are in the above average range! The closer you are to just right, the more you want it? I am such a collection of melted skin, that I have no hope of covering up my flaws, so I just decided to live with them. To be honest, not sure I could be brave enough to do plastic surgery, even though everyone here has had a good outcome. (Although CC had a rough ride to get there).
Ordinary life is awesome. Glad your days are currently steady and lacking drama. Something usually comes along to shake us up, but until then, ride the calm.
Liz I've heard of the Bubble Room, it's iconic. I hope you were able to get in.
Brazil does not celebrate Valentine's Day, but DH and I wore red today to note it for ourselves. We had a wonderful day today with my two brothers, their wives and my sister. My Brazilian family is 5 siblings. We've seen everyone except one brother. I don't know if we will see him, as he doesn't come around a lot anymore according to the others. The other close friend is a cousin. We went out with her and her husband last night.
The house I lived in exists no longer. It was torn down, and an apartment building rose in it's place. It's funny though, the footprint of the building is very similar to the house. It's even the same driveway to the garage. My oldest brother took us there to look at it and the tree he helped plant as a kid, which was also preserved.
Not sure what our plans are for tomorrow. Next week we are going on an overnight road trip with one of my brothers, and the other will meet us in the evening.
Everyone is making plans for our next visit. It feels very nice.
Two photos: One is the camellia bush and the other is the brave little rose bush with one bloom while the rest is dormant.
Greetings all
Clouds today but no rain yet. My back has been sort of sore so I am lazing about after taking advil. Back Ache is probably from how I sit (and the amount of time I sit) but oh well.
We watched some curling last night for lack of anything better and we kind of got into it. Turns out they wear a different shoe on each foot - one that slides and one that grips. Also learned the scoring sort of. USA won gold for first time so I guess that is why they showed it. Missed the quad god crash because I went to sleep.
Sage travels Liz. No more cute deer for awhile. And no more stink eye dog.
Paula that sounds like a decent deal on the consignment shop. Our gallery dues are $60 plus 20% commission plus working one day a month. Hope you find something that works out. Don't hold your breath for picture of the pedestrian with dogs. I am usually driving when I see her.
BBQ sounds good CC but I am sure it indeed was salty. Seems like any prepared sauce has loads of salt.
Peps I bet those t shirts look just fine. I vote for comfort and convenience.
The last of the shrimp tonight. DH does not know yet that I got some vegetarian black bean burgers for dinner as well as some other little frozen do dads. I have a slight urge to eat more healthy.
Happy Valentines day to all and all significant others. I ventured into the back yard for flower pictures and will post if I can

118.8, must have been dehydrated yesterday! Trying to get more calories in today!
Met with one of the antique mall managers this morning and checked out another one just down the road. I might give it a try. Need to work out a few spacing details (they said you can go 18 inches out from the wall, I need 23 inches) and they want a year commitment but I'm only going to offer 6 months but would be willing to pay those 6 months up front. They charge $75 for a small wall space and take a 14% commission but they staff, collect and submit sales tax, have the overhead costs of the building etc.
Otherwise, I've just been hanging out with the pups and will probably take them on a walk soon. Was going to sun by the pool but it is cloudier than it was supposed to be!
HVD, as some of my students used to say... I can't remember when, but at some point during my teaching career acronyms became the thing... HVD, FOMO, YOLO, LOL, LMOA, DD, DS, and the like...
I completed three good workouts this week. I'm pleased with that. Great session with the NUT therapist yesterday.
New obsession: following a plastic surgeon out of NYC on YouTube. The guy is honest to a fault and is not a surgery pusher. He also does celebrity comparisons over the years and speculates on what procedures they may have had and the costs.
I bought a few V neck workout Ts. They are sooooo comfortable and don't wrinkle and double as casual wear so, which makes running errands and fitting the gym in before or after really convenient. But I discovered yesterday at the gym the cut of the shirt does not hide my skin roll at the pant line or the extra fat under my arms on the chest wall. I began to feel self conscious.... Boooo.... Funny how we can be so hyper aware of our "faults". I bet I am the only one *****ally notices these things, too.
Have clients in a few, so I must be off....
Edit: Oops.... 201.7

192 We had bbq last night. I didn't eat much, but I think the salt makes a big difference.
Today the helper guy who works for my designers is coming by to hang my new mirror. Nice of him to take time from his hiking trip to do it! Normally they are down in Scottsdale, two hours away, so it would be a big ask to get them to come up specially for this.
Though chilly this morning, it's bright and sunny today, so I imagine the snowbirds will enjoy some time outside in between watching golf. I need to pick up a few extras at the market and return a couple of failed online shopping packages at the post office.
Boring update, but that's it from here. Take care!
