It's now Thursday 5:30am. My Mom has passed. On my way back to their house. She is finally at peace. I will check in again when I CAN.

Thinking a lot about DD and her Mom. Brings back memories of similar vigils with family members. Though so sad, it feels good to see them finally at peace in the end. ETA: I just saw DD's note on yesterday's thread that her Mom has passed. Wishing the family peace and solidarity. I loved her mention yesterday of the 2 estranged cousins who finally talked and are reuniting. Sometimes death brings people together.
Weird dreams last night in between a bunch of wake-ups which seem to be the norm lately (repeated wake-ups). In the last dream we were late for the cruise we are going on in a week even though we knew the time to be there. Somehow it got away from us. I was trying to hurry up to get ready but for some strange reason was showering at my late MIL's home and my late BIL and the rest of the family were there. So strange.
Not much accomplished yesterday. After water aerobics, I had the final IPL treatment of 3 at the dermatologist but I don't think it is going to do much. I think most of the spots it could treat came off in the first 2. I made it to bocce to watch only and saw the team lose the second game 10-8, but they had won the first game 10-5, so not too bad.
Today I have a ladies golf clinic, followed by a welcome back luncheon for my golf association. Maybe picking up a small cabinet I found for the dining room which will complement the hutch and replace the dark cheap cabinet in place now. Not much else going on. DS arrives tomorrow for 19 days (we will be on the cruise for 12 of those days).
Have a transcendent Thursday!

That's weird about the watch. A lot of the devices use arm swings to count steps. Is it possible that you were swinging that arm the whole time the first day, but not the entire time today?

Sunshine and outdoor activities in this beautiful Florida weather are the key, especially when just getting over an illness.

I need a landscaper who brings soup. Lucky you!

Oh DD, I am so sorry but not surprised. Your Mom will go in peace after all. Don't worry about the morphine- as long as it is working it is the right amount. It should keep her out of pain, relaxed and unafraid and that is important at this point. Good plan with the trip. We will be thinking about you.
