126.something. Tried a new protein bar today that I ordered off Tik Tok. David brand. I got the sample pack. First one I tried was pretty good and the macros are awesome. 150 calories, 28 grams of protein, 1.5 grams of fat and 14 grams of carbs.
Tonight we're going out for pizza with friends and then coming back to our place for drinks and game night. They are really our only "couple" friends and we have a great time with them. Too bad the relationship between our sons didn't work out!
No plans for tomorrow except for DC1 coming over for dinner. I'm itching to go hiking outside but don't think it will be nice enough (by my standards).
Sunday we are going to make the 3 hour trip to my brother's and have Easter dinner with him, his wife and Mom and then back home the same day. We will bring DC1 with us. I'm missing DS3. I see/talk to him the least. School keeps him busy but even on the rare occasion he comes home, he holes himself up in his room. Him being on the spectrum is more and more evident as he gets older. So much like his Dad in his intellect, quirks and social awkwardness! I miss Ben too!
Enjoy the weekend everyone and for those that celebrate, have a joyous Easter!
I had looked at this site in the past but I do think Nick can do it for less (it was pretty cheap when I did it at my other place).

I did some of these in my last house: https://mirrormate.com
Probably less expensive to have it done by someone working on the bathroom, but great for a DIY update to a bathroom! They just stick on.
Yes, that dark brooding grey tone does not fit your style. Now that this is your home home, it should align with your tastes. I like the framed mirror look too. We have the big builders grade mirror in our bathroom, and I think it would look upgraded if we trimmed it. DH is worried he'd ruin the mirror. So it sitz, looking as it does...
I'm off to do a little real store browsing. Maybe they'll be something awesome on the clearance racks. Part of the thrill.
Tonight we're going to a play at The History Theater in St. Paul.I've never seen anything at this venue, but they are usually well reviewed.
The weight loss hasn't been as arduous as I was expecting. I'm .4 away from what I consider the top of my range. That's a relief. Onward! ( or should I say, downward).
120 - funny, it always seems like Friday when I officially record my weight is a bit heavier than the other days of the week. It is the day after my shot so maybe it doesn't kick in for an extra day? Who knows - my weight has been pretty stable (within 3 pounds) since mid-August of last year when I went back into maintenance mode.
The weather is gorgeous here right now. Warm and sunny with a nice breeze. Justice has been happy as a clam since we got back. Lots of walks please him. We have been doing a good length after dinner walk lately since the time change and he really enjoys that.
Yesterday I enjoyed playing golf with the ladies but still didn't do well. I haven't improved much since January. I need more lessons but don't want to take them now and waste them as I am unlikely to play much during the summer and will probably forget what I learn if I don't use it right away.
I decided I want to lighten up our master bath which has no natural light. The woman who had the place 2 owners ago was an "artist" whose specialty is making the walls be art. She put texture in the paint of almost every room (think sandy). She also used grey almost everywhere with a lot of it in dark tones. The bathroom has a mural over the bathtub which would be nice if it was uplifting but I find it very ominous and dark (see below). Our guy is coming Monday to look at it and talk about what to do - while we are not here in the summer. I don't know how he can prep the walls for regular paint. Sand them? I also want molding around the mirrors on the bathroom walls which look like frames (I did that at my for Florida place) and I want to swap out a couple of lights including putting a sort of chandelier over the bathtub to add light in the room. Reading Ann's recent posts got me motivated LOL.
Today is yoga, then beach club. Probably Happy Hour tonight with dinner possibly at the beach club again. Who knows? This is the last somewhat busy weekend in Florida with Easter on Sunday.
Have a flipping Friday!

Shrimp is such an excellent source of protein - so many ways to use it. We did split my leftovers from Wednesday after I threw in extra shrimp. DH asked me to cook the whole bag so he can eat them as healthy snacks. He is really determined to lose at least another 10 pounds.

Your DH is truly a gem! What fun the 2 of you will have in retirement.

You are lucky to have such a supportive woman's group. I feel like mine is here.

Greetings all
Sunny today though clouds earlier. I actually left the house wearing just a t shirt. One from 2001 from the border terrier national specialty. So long ago in a galaxy far away...Went to the gym to walk. Sgt. Pepper and Simon and Garfunkel. Skipped the studio since I got a slow start. Studio buddy called and talked and talked. I am going to have to say something to her. She wants DH to help her with some computer issues which he is happy to do but she is now spouting some conspiracy theories regarding her slow internet. Must decrease all the drama if she wants help.
Yay for the "Ann" day. Nice to take yourself out. We should all do this. I mostly do a drive through sandwich on busy errands days and there is no reason not to have a sit down lunch. Plenty of places. Wishing you the best on travel and the further remodeling.
Congrats liz on tax status. You are way ahead on this game! Hope it is warm.
DH enjoy the Easter plans. Hope your parents house is low drama. And as you well know the shopping for dinner prep can be as much work a the dinner itself. Good to have a shopper. We are going to eat dinner with some friends at the casino restaurant which is actually pretty good and has an out of this world ocean view.
Yay Paula your DH is almost retired. Live it up!
I am trying to think up ways to get more protein with minimal effort. Shrimp tonight from Costco. i still have not checked out the steak bites. That means I will have to go there myself instead of sending DH. But I love looking at their prepared food options. A trip to costco counts as a gym trip.
And yeah, another school shooting. When are we going to fix this? Florida State was where my mother went to college.
