I haven't done a balloon ride! I think I prefer to watch from the ground. Every time I think about it, there is a horrific accident somewhere in the world and it reminds why I should enjoy them from afar...
122.4, I think.
Packed stuff all day! I'm wiped out! Also sold a bunch more stuff on FB Marketplace! Very little stuff left and our house looks like a poor college kid's first apartment. Very bare and mismatched.
I think I will kill myself (or someone else) if this house sale falls through again (I highly doubt it will). We are definitely too far down the rabbit hole now!
Too tired for individual shout outs tonight (sorry)! But know I treasure each one of you!
I am petrified of heights. Just the thought of going up in a hot air balloon gives me anxiety.

That would traumatize me too, Liz! Those coyotes do dart out in front of you at times of day you wouldn't expect them. I hope the damage to the car isn't too expensive. Gorgeous pictures!
7 balloons I could see today and the wind was right to have them drift over me. I enjoyed my coffee watching them in the backyard while Kirby ripped a branch off a pine tree (grr) and chewed the needles off of it next to me. Piney fresh breath!
There are two companies that do balloon tours here and you can tell which is which by their balloons which match each other and their launching point. (Red Rock Balloons which are yellow, red, and blue has the better launch point than Northern Lights Balloon Expeditions which are yellow and green). So it's always interesting when an unidentified balloon enters the mix. I haven't seen this one before, but it was kind of pretty:
I've made a list of chores! Yesterday I bagged up all the balls that floated out of my rain chain pot (did I tell you about that? I had used kiddie ball pool balls as filler in the giant pot topped with a layer of rocks to hide them. We got so much rain that after being there two years, they floated out and covered my yard. They'd been cleaned up and put into the outdoor kitchen sink and a storage box, but needed to go in the trash). I also cleaned the filthy glass doors on the six very high kitchen cupboards requiring the big ladder and a squeegee. Not a lot off the list, but two things that were bugging me. 18 more things on the list and probably many more I haven't remembered to put on there yet.
That's it from here. Looking forward to seeing Liz tomorrow! The weather is great for her visit.
Greeting all
More big sun today with a nice breeze. I did my gym walk and was pleasantly surprised by the breeze when I left the building. Ventured into the yoga studio and now I see why no one is there in the afternoon. The sun comes in sort of hot. Also dismayed to notice the guy on the treadmill next to me did 70 minutes. Oh well. Not me.
We watched football yesterday and it was fun. Studio buddy came over for awhile and the dogs pestered her. I really hope she gets her house livable soon so we don't have to listen to the complaints.
Shrimp last night and more tonight. I bought some weird teriyaki sauce at the outlet store and it is great. Some kind of Korean bbq but it is delish. I will post a pic when I can. Just the right intensity and sweet/spicy. My new go to for all things chicken or otherwise bland.
Liz what a great wedding. Beautiful and looks like all the conditions cooperated. RIP coyote. Sorry for that hitch but fairly minor except to the coyote. Have fun with CC.
And CC sounds like you have to be sort of an acrobat to do your home maintenance! Be careful on the ladder. And Kirby Kirby Kirby, trees are not to eat; only to carry. CC have you ever done a balloon ride? Looks kind of scary. But the views. I think you and Liz and Mike should do one.
Safe travels DD. Hope you get some pool time with a break from the activity obsessed. Maybe present a sprain. Maybe just say no. Who needs ghosts when there is the gulf of Mexico?
Peps: report in on your wins.
Looking forward to the start of a week which is sort of like a birth due to the kiln opening. Meanwhile: all I can eat shrimp in my own home.

Gorgeous photos. You sure have a good looking family Liz! Sorry your DSD had to get up close with a coyote in such a traumatic way.
Sunny and cool here, but we will be on a plane to Galveston soon, where it is sunny and warm (and probably humid too). We are taking Southwest Airlines, which means not direct most times even when flying to Texas. We fly to Dallas, then to Houston, where DBIL and DSIL will be waiting to pick us up and take us to the hotel. This is our third trip with them to Galveston. I'm hoping we will slow down a little since we have done just about every tour there is at this point. Except for a couple of ghost tours : ) We do love our ghost stories. Whether they are true or not, I think they are the folklore of a community, and helps you understand the area better.
Hope everyone is having a delightful Sunday.
