In that txt you were definitely asking if you could call her (or her call you). She is just angry at everyone right now. Amazing how that can happen to some parents when kids (even adult ones) are being protected (rightly or not).

Greetings all

It is cloudy today but not raining. I went to the studio first today and made a few days. I was considering gym hookey but went there in the end. Listened to Taylor Swift and then Rubber Soul. DH is watching one of his weird mystery shows - the narrator keeps saying "orientated" GGGGGAAAAAACCCKKK

Well Liz hope the cold passes soon. No fun.

Peps congrats on the new low. Enjoy the last teaching days but you won't look back once you retire. Agreed. Small "bites" of the tasks works well. GL at the specialty.

Hamburger stroganoff. We used to have that when we were kids The kind with a can of mushroom soup in it. Bet yours is better.

DD more trips! Enjoy. Nice that your former student stopped in.

CC sounds like your friend should be former friend. Drama? No thanks.

Not much else. Onward with the parade of eye drops.

I finally talked to my neighbor. She called me a "bad friend" because instead of calling her, I texted this: "I am SO sorry, Can we talk when you're free?" She ignored me for 2 and a half days after that. This apparently didn't meet her standards of reaching out. I should have called her or come by and she expected better from me. Anyone who knows me knows I never call anyone! Ever! I felt like I was asking her if I could call her. I think she's being ridiculous. Sigh. I'm too old for this level of hairsplitting and think she is just looking for any reason to blame anyone but herself. She's suing the board too. Good times.

I got 6 more plants in the ground. 12 more to go of 27. I think I got carried away. Hopefully many of them live.

That's all from me in crazy town!

I hope your Etsy webinar brought you some new ideas for marketing. And I agree, hamburger stroganoff sounds delicious.

I'm going to have to up my cooking game one day. That WW recipe you're going to try today sounds intriguing Liz. Let us know what you think.

Peps, I too will miss the kid energy. I had an observation today, and the coach noted how happy the kids and I were to see each other. It's so rewarding when we reach the point that we are a community. Then one of my students who had my class 2 years ago stopped by and told me, I miss this room. He noticed a mug he gave me was on my microwave, and he said, you still use it? When I said yes, it was perfect for reheating soup, he was pleased. It's these kind of interactions that make the effort feel so worthwhile.

We had a nice dinner with our friends (from back in the college days), and are tentatively planning a trip to the Finger Lakes Region in Upstate New York this summer to visit some wineries. With all the travel we have planned, I might need to consider subbing next year for some extra cash!

Tonight's exciting plans include complaining about the stock market and watching the final episode of White Lotus. It's been pretty off the rails, so I'm looking forward to how they wrap it all up.

Those little chunks add up over time!

I rarely need antibiotics. When I first started having sinus issues I let it go way too long because I didn't recognize what it was so was on antibiotics for over a month. Since then using an over the counter steroid spray works better as long as I start it early enough. In early days it was by prescription but now they are easier to get.

204.7 - New low! Yippee!

Busy, busy weekend grooming, cleaning, etc... I was indeed resentful this morning when I had to get up. But I so enjoyed my first class right out of the gate this morning that it perked me right up and I am still smiling as I type. Nothing like happy, enthusiastic kid energy to brighten one's spirits. I will greatly miss this aspect of my career.

I have much to do before I leave Wednesday evening for our regional specialty show. I was considering cancelling my training session tonight with the trainer, but she beat me to it. Now I can workout on my own schedule without feeling "guilty" for cancelling.

Liz, hope the sinus infection clears up on it's own and you don't have to go the antibiotic route. I find with home treatment, mine usually go away without antibiotics. Once every few years, I have to get a script, but most of the time home treatment works.

We are supposed to have clouds today and tomorrow with a few sprinkles and then some really nice spring weather kicks in on Wednesday. Some areas may even hit the 80 degree mark!

Though I always seem to want to get more done, I am pleased with what I/we accomplished over my spring break. Yesterday I managed after grooming 2 dogs and taking a little break to get the storage shed cleaned out and reorganized. I created dump pile #2 for the haulers to pick up tomorrow. Little chunks seem to be the way to go for me. Need to keep that in mind going forward.

I have to make sure to pay property tax tonight so it's not late and get to work on taxes so I can submit them when I get back from the show.

Not much else.... Hasta la bye bye!
