Dolphin watching could easily be added to my bird watching routine. How cool!

And here's to all the gals with mostly fat boobs! Um, I thought that was always the standard? I never thought they had any muscle or other structure.

Well I guess I shouldn't have poo pooed the severe weather reports. Its now in the low 70s, and humid air has flowed into the area from down south. The winds are fierce, so something could be brewing indeed.

The kids were all worked up, reading me weather reports from their phones all day. Their understanding of how these storm systems work was sometimes comical. I had one young lady tell me with utmost sincerity, we can't get tornados here. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, ...

I have been witness to 2 tornados. One when I was in grade school, and I didn't understand exactly what I was watching, but I could see where it was on the ground and the debris flying until my parents grabbed me from my swing set and pulled me in the house. Another time I was in a duplex in Minneapolis during college. The tornado went through the backyard and took the top story off the building across the street. Luckily, our building was unscathed, but it was terrifying for about 2 minutes.

The play we saw last night was a fun romp with a serious edge. It was about African American families in the South in 1964. One family was rich, and preparing their daughter for her debut. The other was involved in the Civil Rights movement. A good reminder that even in Jim Crow era, their were black families that had prominent roles in the social life of their community.

I think I am now 2 years on Wegovy. Besides Weight loss, it seems they are learning more and more about other positive ways it affects health. Like you Liz, my DD has really benefited from the anti inflammation bonus.

125.9, the increase in calories worked......or I need some good bathroom time!

Treadmill workout done, one set of arm resistance work too. Cloudy day but supposed to get around 70 today.

DH subbing on golf league late afternoon/early evening so it will just be DC1 and I for dinner. They want to go to Texas Roadhouse. I perused the menu and they have a grilled shrimp appetizer and a side of country green beans that I think I will get. I can almost always make something work!

Emma dog goes for her annual vet visit today and Bella goes tomorrow. The girls are getting old. Emma is skin and bones and Bella has a Buddha belly and tons of crazy mole like growths.

More Etsy site work planned for today. I have to rework all 380 of my listings. A lot of work!

What fun activities you have planned to do with DSD Liz! You are definitely the hostess with the mostess! I enjoy hosting too but definitely don't plan as many activities!

120 - I just realized this morning that I have been taking tirzepatide for over a year. I started on April 11 last year. I have maintaining within 1-2 pounds of my current weight since mid-August of last year. It really has been a miracle drug for me by curbing my cravings and snacking urges and keeping the inflammation in my joints down.

Nice day yesterday with part of it at the beach and the end of the day at the town south of here. We went to a restaurant on the water new to DH and me. Good fish and a pretty outdoor patio. We will go again.

Beforehand we had a great dolphin show in front of our lanai. The dolphin was fishing and kept coming way out of the water. He swam right in front of our building with a huge fish in his mouth.

Today we are going to try getting into beach yoga (couldn't find a signup), then beach it most of the day. DD and I are going out to eat downtown tonight.

Have a marvelous Monday!

I have no clue how many calories I am having as I haven't counted at all since I went on the tirzepatide (and wasn't counting before that). Must be around 1350 though since that was my maintenance number after VSG.

That sounds like scary weather but like DD commented it seems weird without heat and humidity.

The NFL draft is crazy, more so this year because we live 40 minutes from where it is all happening!

I wouldn?t do so good with the 1200 calories if I wasn?t on a GLP 1 that?s for sure!

Post a picture if your sweet peas when they bloom! That is DS3?s term of endearment from me since he was a baby! My sweet pea!

Greetings all

Sunny and windy here. Did my usual leisurely coffee and ate a slice of pizza for breakfast. Not ideal but filling. I went to the gym and did my walking. I am still on a Prince kick but the iPhone seems to want to mix it up with old Beatles stuff. Oh well.

And when did the NFL draft become such a big thing? For weeks there has been nothing but that on the tv at the gym. It is still on. I get that the sports networks need something to broadcast but geez.

Skipping the studio today. It will be kiln day tomorrow.

You guys that keep your calories to 1200 or so are amazing. I used to do that and it's hard to imagine now.

yep Liz, amazing that Dexter is relaxing. Or more likely, distracting from the ways of the world.

Yikes DD what a hazardous parking lot. Agreed, time to be rid of that. Nothing quite like a midwestern thunder storm for drama. Oddly we don't get a lot of that here - just plain old rain. Yay for the new MacBook air. They rock. We are an all apple household.

At the gym I noticed they had body composition tests for $15. Obviously not the kind where you get under water like I did 15 years ago. I am intrigued but also afraid. Remembering my mammogram report "almost entirely fat".

Well if I am lucky I can get DH away from the aliens and come help me with the deck garden getting ready for the sweet peas. Wish me luck.
