Liz, doesn't sound like the best beach weather. Enjoy your meet up with DS and DSIL.

Good grief Diane, Nazi salute? Really?!! Does that person still plan on being part of your co op? Some people are so unable to self regulate, and then have to take their off kilter emotions and do outrageous things.

Nice weather today. The art fair was at a lovely park in Minneapolis with many vendors. Our young friend was in a great location, and there were a lot of people in her tent. When we stopped by net tent towards the end of the day, her inventory looked lower. Yeah!

In addition to picking up a few things from her booth, we bought some nice elm cutting boards. What cutting boards I have are worn and warped. I thought it would be nice to have a pretty board since it is something I use most days. I love when tools I use everyday can also be aesthetically pleasing. Sometimes function has to outweigh form, but sometimes they can co exist :)

Last night we had a bonfire with our young guests. We had moved our brush pile, so there was some bare dirt. The kids asked if they could dig, and they entertained themselves with finding and relocating worms. Not sure if the worms were entertained, but they were not harmed at any rate.

No big plans tomorrow. Perhaps this will be the Sunday I actually read my NYT paper without interruption. Hoping so :)

OMG I forgot to ***** about this yesterday: At the conclusion of the studio meeting one of the unhappy glass people said something like " well that is how it is" and then gave us a nazi salute! Full on and unquestionably. I was stunned. This was directly at me and our studio co director.. I can't believe I did not explode. Ok, rant over. DS

116.4

Yesterday was rainy half the day but it cleared in the afternoon so Justice got a couple of good walks in. We should get a good one this morning but it is only 57 out so I need to wear a jacket. So weird after it being so hot just a few days ago.

The sun is back today but I think it will feel chilly with a strong wind from the north. DH was thinking we would go to the beach mid-day but I am not sure about that.

Tonight we are going to my former town to have dinner with SIL and my DS (my DS is coming to visit her for the weekend). Fish will likely be the choice of the day.

Have a satisfying Saturday!

Too bad you still have that smoke. Makes it difficult to get out for any length of time. We are getting wind from the north coming in today. I just looked at a smoke map and it does look like we may have some today, but definitely here tomorrow. Yuck!

Yep - if the food isn't worth eating, it is time to chuck it! No problem for me either but DH has a difficult time doing that. There is still 1/2 of a chocolate donut in the fridge which he refuses to throw out.

I somehow have misplaced in my brain the information about your surgery. Plastics, yes? Body, face???? What?

Paula is right! I am here to say....

If you have increased weight bearing exercise and you have been even the slightest bit sore from the workouts, I can 100% guarantee you have inflammation (the good kind) and are holding on to fluid to repair muscle tissue.

Three no fail remedies for inflammation: keep exercising regularly, increase your hydration level substantially, cut processed carbs and sugar way back. You'll be back where you were in 3-4 days.
