Bom Dia Vizinha, Thank you for the encourging words you posted for me. It is good to hear that there is a lot of people who think highly of Dr. Higa and the surgical group in Fresno. It helps me to feel like I have made the right choice. Best wishes to you on your journey, hope it a easy one without complications and you have a speedy recovery.

Bev, Thanks for the words of encouragement "neighbor". We are very close in time on our journey, though you are a few weeks ahead of me. It's great to "meet" people from my area in a similar stage..someone to share the excitement/fear with. I have heard great things about Dr. Waldrep and I LOVE the hospital he works with. Dr. Higa was also a choice for me, but I really liked the support page at salsa.com for Waldrep adn his office staff are wonderful (well, admittedly I have only talked with one)..but when she told me he had performed over 500 surgeries and had not lost one patient that made my mind up for me. Thanks again for your wishes and the same back atcha'!

Hey Beverly, Sorry it took me so long, but i just wanted to say thanks for you're post on my page.I was wondering if you might know when Dr.Ho is due to have her baby?I was thinking about changing surgeons, not that Dr.Higa is a bad one, but there is alot more positive outcomes from her patients on this site....Plus she was the speaker at the seminar that i went to and she seems to be really nice and educated on wls!So i'm going to see if she is coverd by my insuance company.How long do you have to attend Dr.Matson's program?Well, i wish you much luck on this long endever....to a healthy and happier life style.
