Hi Beverly~ I wanted to write and say I am so happy for you that your daughter is doing well, and happy you have made the decision to improve your life also. My mom and I had the surgery (lap RNY) also, mine was 3 months ago, and my mom 7 weeks before me. It is wonderful the two of you can really support eachother, and understand what the other is going thru. I wish you the best. ~ Sandy

Thank you for the support! I just love the comeraderie we have here at this site; it means so very much to everyone. Congratulations on you and your daughter's journeys. Sounds like you two are each other's recovery/weight loss team! How cool is that? Best wishes and hugs to you and your daughter.

I appreciate your support very much... and I'm trying not to stress over (not having insurance) anymyore. I'm looking into purchasing a new policy but found out it has to be done within 60 days and I wasn't notified that it had lapsed, so I will either start over with medi-cal (and share of cost) or purchase a new policy and wait for six months as this is now a pre-existing condition. or maybe have my doctor release me back to work and they will have to reinstate insurance. Good luck w/ your daughter's surgery and your pre-op's. Maybe you can find a different nutritionist???
