Beverly, wanted to stop by and send you a note of encouragement. My cardiac ultrasound sounded like yours (also a former phen-fen user) but my surgery was problem free so you hang in there =) Waiting mode is one of the hard parts of this incredible journey. . . but well worth it!!

Beverly - I have the same problem. I'm a big drinker (non-alcohol that is). I drink well over a gallon a day. I'm always thirsty. I've been checked for diabetes more times than I can count. I plan on having water, crystal lite, teas, etc. with me all the time and plan on sipping all day. I do see that it will be a challenge not to drink while eating. My surgery is in 17 days and I'm cutting back caffeine so I don't get withdraws and throwing away all the big cups, containers, etc. I'm going to start sipping so it doesn't come as a shock to me and my system. I just read your profile. That is so stupid, not to mention frustrating what your doctor's office is doing. I usually have more than one problem when I go to the doctor! I hope you find success with your new pcp.- Carmella
